postherpetic neuralgia

in need of remedy suggestions for 80yo male 5 years post shingles. has done acupuncture, taken lyrica, lidoderm, lidocaine/prilocaine, tricyclic antidepressants, duragesic, tramadol, neurontin. Pain is on trunk of body.

Please give him arsenic alb 30c thrice a day at a gap of 4 hours for 3 days and report back after 7 days.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 4 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

patient states no improvement from arsenic alb 30c thrice a day at a gap of 4 hours for 3 days. He has raw, burning pain all of the time and the pain is worse at night. The area is painful to the touch. The area is on the right side of his torso from right front to right back of torso. Any other thoughts? Thanks.
