bad hair and skin

hello, I am a 24 year old male. I eat well, exercise regularly, and have general good health. I have always had poor skin, by this I mean dry, and little bumps on the back of my legs and arms. I went to a dermatologiest, and he told me it was a skin disorder from birth, nothing magor, just little enflamed folicles. It does not bother me, as you can see the affect areas, but only if I wear a tank top or something where you can see the back of my arm and the areas are not even that bad that it would draw attention. Also, my circulation has always been very poor. If it is a little cold out, my hands turn blue, and become freezing. If I exercise hard, my legs go numb. Also, my hair has started to fall out about two years ago. My hair type is a little greasy, but I have dandruff. I try to stay away from medicated shampoo's as they make the situation worse most of the time. Usually I use baby shampoo or something light on the skin. Recently, my hair has become very weak and brittle, mostly around my forehead and temples, giveing me a widows peak, but my hair is still falling. When it comes out, it can be pulled out very very easily, and has a white tip, and sometimes even more white stuff a little above the tip. Also recently, areas such as my arm pits have has badd skin chapping, where the skin looks like I got a brush burn and the skin falls off easily. I dont know why my hair is so crumby and weak, or why my skin and circulation are so poor. Also, after I work out, I get a mood swing, where I go from happy to very depressed. This last only about a few hours. Also, sometimes I get light headed easily and headaches. These symptoms are not very constant though, but more frequent than usual. One last little bit of info. I had a horrible fever about two decembers ago. My temperature was up to 103 about. I did not go to a doctor and it went away in about a week. I have had this temperature every following december it seems. I rarely get sick, if ever, but just like clockwork, i get this aweful fever. I dont know if that has anything to do with anything, since my skin and circulation have been bad for a long long time now, since i was a teenager. But my hair loss is somewhat recent. Well, those are my symptoms, can anyone help, and I thank you for reading!!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
hi. i was wondering if maybe you could help me figure out what could possibly be wrong with me, if anything. Lets see, I feel more tired and fatigued than usual, my hiar is falling out and comes out very very easily, and almost everyone in my family has a perfect head of hair. My hair pulls out very easily and has a loss of color towards the root, and thier is a white-tip exclamation point looking root coming out. Also, I get dizzy when I stand up more often than ever. I generally just feel crumby. My skin is extemely dry, and patches of skin become very agitated, like around my arm pits for example. But in general, my skin is very flakey, and very unhealthy. I take vitamins, a exercise and I am in very good shape. I watch what I eat, and I try to eat healthy, fish, chicken, veggies, fruit, and I drink lots of water, but I cant seem to figure out why my skin and hair and bad and why I feel so weak. Does anyone have a good guess at what could be ailing

This is bigwig's first posting and maybe now there are enough symptoms to get a better picture everyone??

The high fever that returns at the same time each year is first the fever and then an aniversary return. We must know about the original fever. I still believe you were poisoned in some way.

Hi again, I called a friend of mine and talked about you.

Have you had a blood work-up? Especially on the Thyroid?

yes, i have had blood-work and a thyroid test. But my doctor isnt that sharp, and I am going to a new one in a couple weeks. My brother is a year younger than me and has a year left to get his PhD in Pharmacy. He told me there are a few thyroid tests they should do, but my doctor only did one. So I definately think I will get some more work done. Hopefully I can solve this issue. My mom just got diagnosed with a low-active thyroid. Maybe that it?

You are not your mom. Try to think of yourself as a complete individual and treat yourself as such.

Do not become a person trying to "blame" something because of a connection with something else.

Remain an individual. Be true to yourself. Look into yourself and make peace with yourself while learning to understand who you are.

I didnt mean to fixate or blame any one thing really, I just thought maybe my mother and I could have had a similar problem do to similar living conditions. I read consumption of mercury is often times absorbed through the mouth, which in turn quickly damages the pituitary gland, thus hurting your thyroid. I am not limiting myself to this one option, nor do I have tunnel vision, I am just trying to possibly educate myself on any potential conditions or diseases that may seem to fit my particular problems. I do extremely appreciate your feedback though, it is very useful!

Sorry, I teach people to be themselves and be true to themselves. I teach positive speaking. So many conditions of our human race today is faulty, careless language and the subconscious picks it up and then it shows up in the body.

I do not argue that things are carried through the genes. I just want people to look to themselves and not outside unless it is so very obvious they must.
