PCOD - Doctors please help
I am 25 yrs old, married 7 months ago. I was diagnosed and was confirmed with PCOD since few years. I was on alopathy medicines and then switched to homeopathy since 6 yrs. Since the last (4+2) 2yrs Iam taking medicines from the same doc at chennai.1. Periods are now regular with every 30 days even after the wedding. No birth control measures taken. no contraceptives.
2. I do not have thyroid problems and hormones. when checked they were in normal levels.
3. i have facial hair problem.
4. I get excited very quickly.
5. I prefer cold stuffs including temperature.
6. i like to eat sweets and hot, spicy food.
7. Some times my bleeding is excess that it exceeds 10 days. Please note that during such times the bleeding is scanty and mostly starts from the 3rd day with just one or two spotting on the 1st and 2nd day. Other times the bleeding is very heavy having to change 4 pads with severe lower abdomen pain.
Let me know if you need my ovaries reading.
The medicines are given by my doc that are prepared in his laboratory. i do not know their names. Please advise me on my following queries
1. How long do i have to take these medicines?
2. Will my periods get to normal if i stop these medicines?
3. how long does it take to cure PCOD and facial hair?
4. Reg pregnancy - Can i ask my doctor to include anything for improving my fertility or stuff?
Please please help. I am going mad everyday thinking of myself.

It is advisable for you to consult your homeo physician under which treatment you are now a days. If your Periods are normal with his treatment without any allo medicine then he is on the right path. Please discuss it with him for further guidance.

As mentioned in my post in the homeopathy forum, my periods are regular for every 30 days. I haven't checked is i am ovulating with a kit but i can just say with some of the symptoms i have. Kind of mucus in the cervix, breast tenderness, feeling a little hot in the body temperature are some combination of symptoms that i feel. Please find the readings as below

Below are the changes in my body after i started taking the medicines.
1. Acute acne problem, dandruff and hair fall has almost stopped. Acne appear just one or two during periods. Dandruff is under control except when water and climate is changed. Hairfall only when i wash my hair twice a week.
2. Periods for every 30 days.
3. I try to stay on a strict diet with no sugar (take sugar free pills), less cholesterol and carb food and try having vegetables and fruits that can inhibit estrogen. I got the list of food that inhibit estrogen from a site.
4. All abdominal organs recent reports were normal. Please note that the abdominal organs were normal even before taking medicines.
5. No thyroid problems before and after.
I only remember that there are no fluids found in some sac and that the thickness and lining of uterus is normal.
(The report is my husbands house and i am now with my parents in a different city)
I will be thankful if you can let me know about what all i must ask my doctor. I have already requested him to take a detailed look at my case study. I have also requested him to provide me any necessary medicines for fertility.
Also how long does it take to cure a patient with acute PCOD? I am just too curious to know since i have been taking medicines for 6 years. I am pushing myself so hard not to give up any hope.
Please advise.

Please let me know what has to be done for my problem. I bet all of you are busy. Please take some time off and please help me. All i need to know is how long will it take to sure me and can i take metformin along with the current homeopathy tablets i am now taking.
Also even after taking the medicines sometimes the flow during periods is restricted to 5 days and sometimes it is as much as 12 -15 days. Please advise.

Apologie for the delayed reply. I also received your mails and replied to one of them as well.
The only problem is that you will be leaving for Saudi in some time and want the list of remedies that you may need to take with you that could be used for a long period of time.
Unfortunately, this is not the way Homoepathy works. No one can give you that list.
The remedies to follow will be decided by your reaction of your body to the initial remedies. It will be some time before you will start feeling significant improvement.

Thanks a lot for your reply. Dr.Rishimba has mentioned me where i can get the medicines at Dubai. Hence as you have mentioned i will start taking the medicines that you will suggest and report thereafter periodically, also buy them as and when necessary.
Now what i would like to know is the remedy for my problem.
This month i have an added problem. I had my periods on the 30th May and had bleeding till 7th. Only spotting occurred for the first 3 days. Had very medium flow thereafter.
From 9th June absolutely no spots nothing. On the 16th we left for a trip to a hill station with 7 hours drive in a car and i had to drive the car.
From the 19th June i had spots very very little. from 22nd June the spotting increased to upto one teaspoon of flow till today. Iam very worried about this. I have never had it earlier this way.
My periods is actually on the 30th every month. Iam now confused about which date to be considered as my periods. Also if this spotting will continue next month i will be in deep trouble. we have planned for a pilgrimage to Tirupati. I will not be allowed to go to the temple if i have spotting. Please help.
Even if i will have to take up any medicine that will stop the flow for this month it will be of GREAT HELP.
