suggestion for cataract required

hi,
my mom is diagnosed with cataract, just beginning[mildly started].No problems with reading, walking etc. But she doesnt like to walk on roads with specks. She says without specks i see clear and walk normally. With specks i feel things are going down.A year back another allopath said catarct is there and she has 88% vision whereas another said she has no. She is taking calc flour 12x and silicia 6x biochemic. This time during routine chekup after a year with the allopath who had last year said 'no cataract' and this yr told developing, i went to a homeopath for suggestion. He just kept advocating surgery saying it is simple [laser] and no problems. Cineraria he told doesnt reverse on the contrary it hastens the cataract. There is no proof to give its effectiveness. The medical companies just keep advocating it is what he said.
So i am now confused. Whether there is a cure for catarct in homeopathy anything official as per the Homeo medicine board? Whether cineraria can be used so? All over internet i just found one para quoting the Govt of India has said cineraria halts and reverses cataract. Whereas the actual homeo doctor gives a contrary opinion. So in this case what should i do now.
Should i continue with the biochemic remedies or should i stop the same also. Also about cineraria pls clear the issue.

Thanks and regards

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Since the catract is in progress and ceneraria can be used for its early development ultimately you have to go with operation. Therefore, it is advisable for you not to take any homeo medicine internally for this but orally cineraria drops.

CINERARIA MARITIMA
Dusty Miller
(CINERARIA)

Has some reputation in the cure of cataract and corneal opacities. Is used externally, by instilling into the eye one drop four or five times a day. This must be kept up for several months. Most effective in traumatic cases. Compare in cataract Phosph; Platanus; Cannabis; Causticum; Naphthalin; Ledum; Nat mur; Silica.

Dear Doctor,
I could not understand your first line. 'Since the catract is in progress and ceneraria can be used for its early development ultimately you have to go with operation. '

By 'early development' do you mean that cineraria will make it grow[develop] faster so that it can be operated upon?

You have also written 'Has some reputation in the cure of cataract and corneal opacities. Is used externally, by instilling into the eye one drop four or five times a day. This must be kept up for several months.'

I presume this para suggests it cures cataract.

So overall which of this should i take it, will cineraria cure cataract as it has been so proclaimed by the medicine bottles.
Sir, pls give me your opinion of what you have seen in practise.Would be very kind of you to share the same.

Thanks and Regards for your replies.

clarification:

1. Cineraria is only useful only in very early stages of catract But practically it has not been proved that it has cured catract.
2. This medicine is used to grow it rapidly.
You may use it for it growth. I am not sure it will cure your catract. when it is fully grown then go for operation.

in my moms case one doctor last yr said 'it is operable, though not advanced'.This yr the doc who had told last yr ' no cataract' has told now 'cataract has just begun'.
So in such cases will you advise cineraria? I dont want her cataract to grow faster using cineraria.Let it take its own time naturally.
Pls advise.
Thanks a lot for your prompt reply.
