Remedy for a broken heart

The love of my life left me. We were together for almost two years. It's already more than a year since he left me, and there is not a single day that I do not think of him. I have such a big part missing from my life that I feel like this pain will never go away and that I will never be in a position to meet anyone else.

I fell into a depression last summer, and I have been taking St John's wort as well as vitamin B, and Omega-3 and iron. All of these supplements help, but it's still not enough.

Please help me out! The emotional pain is terrible.

Hope you have been taking Ignatia (St John's Wort) of the wrong potency /wrong intervals that too without supervision from genuine homeopath. Ignatia itself is capable of causing depression. Please stop Ignatia and try one doze of Nat.Mur-1M every day for three days and wait for 1 week and report back. You can do Pranayama (Breath Control). Long term use of Vitamin B is to avoided.

boyish d,

thanks for your reply. St John's Wort has been very helpful to me. I do not take it all the time now because my depression is not as bad as it was last summer, but I still do not feel good and definitely not ready to meet other people. I would take St John's Wort now only on days when I feel like I do not want to eat or when I feel down. If I do not do it, I end up crying.

I typically feel a pain in my heart on a regular basis and there are times when the pain becomes really bad. I still have memories of the good times and even though I understand with my mind that there are bad sides of the one who left me, my heart does not accept them, and that makes it emotionally very difficult. There are still moments when I cry. They are not as often as last summer, but still....

Thanks for your suggestion and for your recommendation for restricted use of vitamin B.

I have never done Pranayama, so I will definitely research it and do that.

Many thanks,
Broken-hearted
