The ABC Homeopathy Forum

newborn 7 weeks

I had a 6 weeks healthy, breastfed, newborn, when he started to have a stuffy nose and 37,8 Celsius fever. I went to the hospital where they said I must stay there because my son have pneumonia. They put him antibiotics injections gluteal muscle:ampicilin 125 mg/6 hours, cefotaxim 200 mg/ 12 hours. It was strange because he breastfed and sleep very well, no strange sounds.
They made blood tests, XRAY 2 Days later, and the doctor told me that my son didn't had pneumonia but it's better he did those antibiotics, because he has a cold, and newborns are sensitive and can develop complications. They continued antibiotics injections, and my baby was so scared and cryed so loud that he developed hoarseness. he even cryed scared when I changed his diaper. Because of that hoarseness, which I am sure it s because so much cry they said he should continue antibiotics injections for 10 day total. They don't have any arguments for me: just 'it s better!, we don t want complications'. When I try to say something, they threaten me that I am the only responsible for anything happens. They said I could stop injections and give him antibiotics orally suspension, but it's my responsability.

Here doctors prescribe antibiotics like drinking water, that's why I am so scared and I don't know what to do!. I feel like they do this because it's the easiest way.

From yesterday he has a sort of secretions in his neck that he wants to spit with cough. I know I have the same things when I am taking antibiotics because I develop an allergy like a bronchitis.
Thank you in advance for your answers
