Att: Sameer if possible re: 6 mth old baby with GIT issues

I have a 6 month old boy who has had vomiting and relfux issues since birth. He did receive his HepB vacc at birth and his 2 and 4 month vacc. His 2 month vacc caused a fever, his 4 month vacc caused withdrawal and decreased communication for weeks. He is back to hitting his milestones but the gastro issues are still promonent. Two days ago he developed a rash on his stomach, I believe it is due to a food intolerance. Much appreciated in advance

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
What did you change in his diet before he developed a rash?

You have not mentioned whether the baby is breast-fed? If yes then have you taken any medicine before the rash appeared?

Is your baby allergic to milk?

Please answer the above questions and also describe the personality of your child, things like whether he likes to be carried, cries all the time, or prefer that you take him out, or how restless he is, active, dull etc.

Sameer will need the above information to prescribe.

Thank you so much for your swift reply.

My little man is breast fed - at the moment six times a day. He started rice cereal and banana at 5 1/2 months and after six months he has had a range of vegetables. The few days before the rash he had egg yolk, a rusk (had before) with wheat in it, avocado (had before) mixed with riccota cheese.

I have never given my little man any cows milk just breat milk and some formula mixed in with his cereal.

The only medicine I was exposed to was some lignocaine/prilocaine cream applied to skin(this was 5 days before rash) otherwise my diet has remained the same.

My baby is sensitive, he doesn't like loud noises and scares at new faces, he smiles and laughs a lot with his father and myself but is wary at first with others, he is quiet and watches when out but very chatty and talks at home. He loves to be with me, he sleeps in my room and is with me almost always. He doesn't really like the slings - likes to be carried free so not to be too restricted, he loves to play on the ground but only if I am close. Going out tires but settles him. He doesn't sleep well.

He had a traumatic birth, three hours stage three, midwife tried to turn him twice then he had two attempts with suction and the finally forceps. He has been seeing a chiro for his spine and a osteo for his missshapen head (all much better).

Does he sleep mostly on his right side?

Does he have obstructed nasal passages?

Are the complaints worse late afternoon or early evening.

(For vaccination related issues, always keep silicea at hand)

You may answer these questions and wait for Sameer to respond.

He sleeps on his back and his head will turn either way (when he was little he had a right side preference but the osteo fixed this)

His nasal passages are clear

His vomiting is worse some days and not others but it used to get worse in the afternoon and night when and early morning when he was smaller, now I can't pinpoint a time. Today he is good but three days ago he vomited all day

Please give him Lycopodium 6C according to the following method:

Mix two pellets in 8 oz spring water. Once the pellets are dissolved (on their own), stir with a teaspoon.

Take a teaspoon from this and put it in a cup of spring water. Stir it.

A teaspoon from this cup is to be given to the baby only ONCE and no more.

Keep a difference of half hour from milk either side

(Sameer - Dear Sir, please intervene anytime you feel the approach or the remedy is not right. It would be in the interest of the patient if you take this up as well).
