Diabetes & Dementia

My 83yr old mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and put on meds that only had bad side effects. When Dad decided he wanted her off these, I started looking into alternatives. She also has diabetes. A recent MRI showed she has suffered many tiny strokes, she stoops and shuffles when she walks, is 5'1 and 210 lbs, doesn't want to get out of bed in morning. I started giving her 3-4 drops Szyzygium Jambolanum 200c dilution in a little water to bring down her sugar # which goes from 155 to sometimes 200, can't keep it down or stable. (Medication she was on made it go down to 55 so we stopped it and changed her diet drastically and started the remedy instead.)Along with this we added Baryta Carbonica 30c, 5 pellets once a day everyother day. Her eyelids that were drooping, probably from the strokes, lifted, as well as the fog she was in. She spoke normally, remembered people and places and recent events, and walked better and with less help, didn't want the walker, my family was amazed. When we ran out of the pellets I thought we could try 200c dilution, 3 drops at a time, and maybe not have to use it as often. But she is not as focused on this. She can't find words she wants to use (like a stroke victim) and gets very frustrated, and she needs more help walking. Any suggestions, I'm not sure about fooling around with the Baryta Carb because it is called a cardiovascular poison. Her dr said she has an arythmia,(wanted her to take blood thinner we said no,) weak pumping heart, she is a tuberculin carrier, alopecia on top of head, she has had psoriasis, shingles, & ringworm in the past, right now has a red circles with a crusty center all over body, that apple cider vinegar seems to work on for a while, but comes back. Athletes feet all her life, loss of appetite and very fussy about food, likes sweets, and she has always had very sensitive skin and muscles to the touch. When we help her get up or move her legs she says it hurts so much where we are holding her. I gave as much history as I can remember, I hope someone can help me.
Bless you

When this statement appears in Materia Medica i don't think that it has any reference to baryta carb in potentised form. It refers to its application in non-homeopathic manner. You can see that the MM begins with 'Specially indicated in infancy and old age'. Now how a cardiovascular poison be specially indicated in old age.
The last sentence of MM says that baryta is slow in action, bears repetition. Therfore i believe that you should adminster baryta frequently in 30 potency instead of moving to 200. It seems that she is responding well to baryta.

You may consider giving her bc 7 once or twice a day. It is a combination of tissue salts. Its composition is-
natrum phos 3x
ferrum phos 3x
kali phos 3x
calcarea phos 3x
natrum sulph 3x
in equal proportion

It is indicated to relieve many conditions associated with diabetes. It helps better assimilation of glucose. Impaired kidney and liver functions are improved.

Thank you for your response. You confirmed what I originally wanted to do with the 30 and now feel more at ease to do so. I will ad the bc 7 to her treatment and I am grateful for your help.
Blessings
