Bleeding in the Eye due to injury

Dear sir/Madam,
My daughter aged 2 years and 3 months fell down on a lamp glass while playing on 21/3/09 and the glass broke. Her right eye was severely injured leading to profuse bleeding. She was rushed to the hospital and Drs took 2-3 hrs to repair the damage. She had a cut 8mm away from the limbus and 15mm wide towards the punctum. Her Vitreous cavity was ruptured leading to haemorrage in the vitreous as well. Now she is under regular medical super vision and on oral & topical steroid/+ anti infective medications. The Drs suggest a vitrectomy to clear the haemorrhage which may invite further complications without assuring 100% vision. As of now there is no retinal detachment. She was a ceaserian child but normal one without any severe desease. One ophthalmologist who also practises homoeopathy suggested to give arnica mont 200,4 globules twice for 5 days.
Pls suggest the possible remedies so that the haemorrage gets cleared and she can see clearly in both eyes. Thanks

Yes,arnica will be right choice.Along with arnica, you can give her kali phos 6x,3 tab twice daily for few days.

In my opinion the remedies that will work excellently in this case are
arnica
staphysagria
hamamelis

This is a serious case of accidental injury and needs immediate attention.

Please give the following:

1. Ledum 200

2. Arnica 200

in alteration every hour on the first day.. (eight doses of each).(total 16 doses)

Next day onwards give both meds four times a day in alteration. (total 8 doses).

continue for 4 days and post feedback.

I humbly request all fellow prescribers not to make this thread an issue of continued debate in view of the seriousness of the situation of the child.

Pl. note Ledum is needed for punctured wounds and also acts as an anti-tetnus.

Arnica is great for injuries any where.

Both meds work very well in the area of the eyes.

Thanks for all the responses.
Dr pankaj Varma,Pls notice that the injury occured just 1 month back (I did n't thimk about homoeopathy then because of the trauma and chaos).Today also she had a check up and the Drs insisting for a vitrectomy soon to clear the haemorrhage which is obstructing the vision of the child.I have just starded the arnica dose from last night.
Can anyone pls suggest me that whether surgery could be avoided and qualitative vision be restored with homoeopathy? If yes,how long the treatment should take?Does Arnica 200 melt any blood clotting and absorb it to the tissue?
Dr pankaj, can we still give Ledum 200, as the injury is 1 month old now?
