diarrhea puppy

Hi everybody,
we are using homeopathic remedies at home for all family members.
we have a new puppy at home. we get her yesterday from a breeder in another city. she didn't eat anything along the day, we had a 7 hours trip together by car. During the trip she was very calm, sleepy, motion sick , vomited just one time. we arrived at home around 11 at night, she eaten some milk and bread. today she avoided eating anything and also water. diarrhea started this morning and now she is still not eating , vomiting and have diarrhea. In the afternoon I took her to the vet, they gave her vitamins and some injections for vomiting. But still there is no difference.....
weather changes, road trip, separation from other puppies and the milk that I gave could be the reasons.... :(
she has all her vaccinations, giant schnauzer, 70 days old.... very calm and gentle nature puppy.
I never used homeopathic remedies for a puppy before, I'm thinking to give her Aconitum 30C or Nux vomica 30C....
Any idea, or suggestion?
Thank for everything
Cagla

When did your pupppy receive her vaccinations? This sounds like a reaction to vaccinations compounded by the disruption from her previous home.

For some inexplicable reason both breeders and conventional vets seem to think it's perfectly all right to load a puppy or kitten, only a few months old, with up to 8 vaccinations given at one time. It wouldn't be done to a baby of the same age but it is routinely done to puppies and kittens with disasterous results. Each vaccine is the virus itself introduced into the pet's system. It is expected that the immune system will provide antibodies, but to expect the immune system to fight such an overload is almost impossible in an adult pet let alone one so young and the result is vomiting, diarrhea, auto immune diseases, allergic and toxic reactions, seizures, death, and yes, even the disease itself that the vaccine was supposed to protect against can become entrenched. Such reactions can take place anywhere from minutes after the vaccinations up to several months afterward.

Right now, dehydration is of immediate concern because of the vomiting and diarrhea. Dehydration is an insidious killer.Fluids, in the way of broth(simmer a beef bone with a few carrots, broccoli, celery, and other vegetables(no onion) until the broth is rich. Cool and give several tablespoons every half hour or so(yes through the night) with an oral syringe. The fat may be skimmed off. Also look for Pedialyte at drugstores(for children). Several tablespoons of this every half hour to start for several hours, then every hour/every several hours until dehydration is no longer a threat and the diarrhea and vomiting stop. Pedialyte will restore the electrolyte balance lost when there is vomiting and diarrhea. Give no other food until the appetite returns.

Find blueberry(otherwise known as bilberry)tablets. Consider giving 3 tablets every 6-8 hours until the diarrhea stops.

Also consider looking into the Bach Flower Essences. Rescue Remedy would have helped your puppy immensely during the long ride. It should even help now in helping your puppy to overcome the trauma of the move. 2-3 drops on the tongue every 5 minutes for about one hour, then every half hour for several hours, then once every several hours, then several or more times a day or on an as-needed basis.

Also invaluable are Star of Bethlehem, Olive, Walnut, Camomile, and Elm.All Bach Flower Essences. 2-3 drops of each in one ounce(2 tablespoons) of water.Place in a small dark bottle with an eyedropper in the cap. Swirl gently before giving. Four to five drops on the tongue once every hour or so for 6-8 hours, then every several hours,(do not give at the same time as Rescue Remedy so both have time to work separately)then on an as-needed basis.

If you can't find blueberry in tablet form, look for actual blueberries, crush until you have several tablespoons and mix into some highly palatable food( a little at a time if you are not able to give the whole amount at one time)Repeat until the diarrhea stops.

If you can locate Thuja 30C-3 crushed pellets or two whole pellets placed on the tongue. No food or water for at least 30 minutes afterward. Wait one full month before repeating this dosage if needed.
