How to remove a tiny glass

Hi
My mum is 74 years old and has a tiny glass on her foot. The area it's a bit red and painful. I was wondering if there is a remedy that can help her to push it out rather than having surgery.
Many thanks

silica Promotes expulsion of foreign bodies from tissues.

Skin.--Felons, abscesses, boils, old fistulous ulcers. Delicate, pale, waxy. Cracks at end of fingers. Painless swelling of glands. Rose-colored blotches. Scars suddenly become painful. Pus offensive. Promotes expulsion of foreign bodies from tissues. Every little injury suppurates. Long lasting suppuration and fistulous tracts. Dry finger tips. Eruptions itch only in daytime and evening. Crippled nails. Indurated tumors. Abscesses of joints. After impure vaccination. Bursa. Lepra, nodes, and coppery spots. Keloid growths.

The following may be tried if she is not on merc.

3 doses of silica 30 on a single day with a gap of 4 hours. No more doses. Report after a week. Follow homeopathic restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes during the treatment period.
