Dr. Mahfooz .. Chronic Nasal Blockage

I am suffering from Nasal Blockage since 4 years, I use Nasal Decongestant to open up my nose. But it has become a habit for me now, I can't sleep without the decongestant nasal spray. I am having Sinus problem also. Every time I get the sinus infection, my doctor usually prescribes some anti-biotics for me. Please Help I can't breath because of this congestion. Only after taking the decongestant spray I can breath. I have done the PNS CT-Scan ( ParaNasal Sinus) after meeting an ENT specialist. The report of CT-Scan says 'No deviation in septum and no polyps inside the nose, no bony projections, swelling on sinuses and nasal turbinates.

Nothing comes out, no discharge, no cough, no runny nose just blockage due to swelling.


My details are as follows:

I am a S/W engineer and usually take Non-Veg diet.
I am 28 years old,85Kg, married.
I like sweets/chocolates. In tolerance to heat. Usually my sleep is not so good I think because of this nasal congestions only. Regarding bowl habits 2 time daily (morning and evening).

The blockage condition worsens when I start eating cold items like ice cream, cold drinks etc and immediately after that cold and sinus infection followed by VERTIGO.

My voice also has changed and I feel like some cough in the throat and pain in the throat. Just for information I have removed my tonsils when I was 14yrs old.

Please Help me which medicine should I take and also let me know how much time will it take to be cured completely ? Is there any medicine which will clear my entire sinus by removing all the bad stuff from inside?

Please suggest me some good medicines and tips to prevent such conditions.
