Close to Aspergers
we suspected my son to have aspergers (as had exhibited some of the symptoms: anxiety, restricted interests, lack of social skills, sensory issues). We got him tested and found out that he has average intelligence, reading levels and normal to his age cognitive capabilities. AFter the ADOS testing, the pshychologist ruled that he exhibits some issues in communication, but does not have Autism or he is not in the spectrum. He also has constant dry nose, and nose bleeds.We tried to give him homeo medicines brightspark/focus from native remedies..I thought he responded very well for 2 months. I gotten feedback from teachers that there is nothing significantly diff and he is continuining to have challegens in class.
I am a great believer of homeo. I don't want to put him in ritalin/concerta etc. where do i go from here?

SM: United states. and we have all four seasons. age is 7.5 years..complexion is fair, height is 4ft and
weight is 51 lbs. BMI is unknown.

SM: he likes sports a lot. he doesn't like to play with toys etc. he likes video games (wii), which I am allowing him to play once a week.

SM:nightmares..and he frequently closes doors..
How is his sleep? Does he wake frequently at nights?
SM: mostly ok. he sleeps in diff room. someitmes he comes over to sleep next to us parents.
about what he complains most of the time?
SM:not a whole lot. he hates missing his playtime.
how would he behave in crowd, with other kids, in loneliness, in traffic, in dark, with elders ;
SM: he is usually playing this game all by himself. he pretends that he is in baseball game etc. he responds to us when we call him, to come for lunch etc..otherwise he is very seriously involved in this game. when he is with other kids he plays with them fine. he lets them lead though. he plays basketball, boardgames, wii, card games etc. he is usually ok for 2-3 hrs. after that he is exhausted. he is afraid of darkness..and frequently needs help turning light on. with elders he his ok, but mostly doesn't do any talking.

SM: when he misses his play time. he also hates me repeating things (raj please do ur hmwk. he also gets very upset if i ask him to do chores.

SM: he is funny sometimes. his memory is good. although he doesn't like it, his mom sits with him and goes through sunday cartoons on papers. he gets those jokes.

I am trying to get some help in school env.
Rajeev usually is getting up and moving around more than other students. He also is missing oral, written, or demonstrated directions, trouble keeping materials organized, awkward movements, appears inactive, Sensitivity (difficulties with functioning with a lot of noise, overly bothered with loud noises, writing pencil noise bothers him, notices small changes in the room, wants to wipe hands quickly after messy tasks, over-reactive compared to peers) and avoids eye contact, inflexible, difficulty tolerating changes in routine.
How is Raj's appetite?
he is a ok apetite. sometimes he gets picky..
for Breakfast is usually limited (to two pancakes/two waffles/two strudles/).
he eats dosa/egg omlet/chappati/bagel with cheese/or school lunch.
dinner it is three dishes mixed with rice (vegetable/dhal/curd).
occasionly he eats chicken etc
When does Raj get hungry (at what time ?)
morngin aroudn 7.20-7.30 am, afternoon around 11.30, eve around 7.00 pm. he usually has snackes plus sometimes I give him cereal with milk after school day.
What kind of food causes indigestion?
don't know. he typically seem to eat everything.
Any eye problems?
he has glasses for vision. but usually locating those glasses (after school, at home etc) is a issue. I keep track of it mostly.
