In my opinion only people (who were patients of High Blood Pressure and who started taking mukta vati instead of allopathic medicines) who do pranayam regularly (and sincerely) are able to stop taking mukta vati and they also do not suffer from high blood pressure.

So either you have to take medicine regularly or you have to do pranayam regularly.

John belongs to classical school of homeopathy and you should read a basic book on homeopathy like
Organon of Medicine by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann
to understand what John says.

I would recommend you to keep track of your blood pressure even if you decide to switch to classical homeopathy.

Hi

Are you suggesting that Mukta Vati is not a permanent cure for Hypertension?

Is it a suppressant similar to allopathic medicines?

Allopathic drugs interact with the physiological processes directly like they act as beta blockers etc. Mukta Vati is a herbal medication and it acts on the lines of nutritious supplements. It is more effective when there is hypertension due to mental stress. If there is hypertension due to rise in cholestrol, the right remedies are diet control and kapalbhati pranayam. It is not suppressive in the sense that there is no need to continue it forever like allopathic medcines.

Thank you for the reply.

In most essential hypertension cases, the cause is unknown. For example in my case, cholesterol level is normal and everything else is normal. Doctor says it is due to heredity and overweight/life style. In such case, do you think Mukta vati will be effective as a cure?

Kapalbhati holds the real key as obesity factor is there. Muktavati will certainly help.

Hi I just saw this post. I am curious to find out the results of MV myself.

I used to take 1 Mukta Vati to control my BP, then after don't know a year or so it became 2 tabs a day, one in the morning & one in the evening. Lately looks like I need more to control. I have not been taking any allopathic medicines but MV has not cured my BP. My cholestrol is normal & the HDL vs LDL ratio is good too. What I am hearing is like Mr Kadwa said is to do Pranayam with MV to cure the BP.

I had not been doing Pranayam w/ MV but have started to do that so let's see what happens. Currently I am just trying to control the BP with 2tabs a day of MV & Pranayam, let's see if I control it & then cure it.

Thanks
Rajan

Hello Mr. Rajan

i have read your thread on anxiety and panic attacks.
You should give more time to Anulom Vilom Pranayam and Bhramari. If you could do Anulom Vilom for 30 minutes in the morning and evening....and Bhramari and Udageeth for 5-7 times twice a day....you should feel a great relief from panic attacks. But your gastric problems should be relieved by kapalbhati. So have to do kapalbhati also for atleast 15 minutes.
You could also start doing anulom vilom very gently whenever you suffer from panic attacks. Of course you cannot do this in a public place like office or market !!!
i think that your acute remedy is lil tig as the problems started due to lack of work at your office. Therefore Reva is right in suggesting lil tig. On the basis of totality of symptoms lyco seems to be your remedy as rightly pointed out by Dr. Priya. i did'nt make any suggestion there as you know that it is very difficult in homoeopathy to suggest a single remedy collectively.

Best Wishes.

Sometimes it is better to explore complementary medicine if conventional medicine don't work. In one case the patient didn't show any improvement in his BP readings even after taking the allopathic medicines. His readings were 160/100. He reported immediate normalizing of his BP to 120/90 after taking his indicated remedy (which in this case was Aurum Met). Alternate medicine have their own set of rules and they always can't necessarily substitute the conventional medicine. He was asked to continue allopathic medicines for the time being. Alternate medication plan needs minute individualization many times which at times may be difficult.
