allium cepa

i came across a very interesting article ( http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&a...) about onion juice or allium cepa for alopecia areata. i see that there is a topical allium cepa ointment here.does anyone know what(other than the remedy) is in the ointment?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
That's interesting.

The cream here contains stuff to make it creamy.

You'll probably be closer to the original research if you literally just juice an onion and apply that directly.

- though it might be a bit smelly.

Just as Maria is saying :

ALLIUM CEPA is the medical name of red onion.

In homeopathy ALLIUM CEPA is a well known and well regarded medicine.

Meant for colds in damp weather, headache in fore head, much burning and smarting in eyes.

Eyes watery, profuse and bland lachrymation.

Nose >> sneezing frequent, specially when entering a warm room.
Acrid discharge from nose.

Hacking cough.

If the above symptoms are appearing together, the homeopathic medicine can be administered internally with substantial confidence and should produce results.

I have seen quick results. Sometimes with in one or two hours.

If by rubbing the raw onion or applying the cream, you get results on a bald head >>>> please share the feed back with me as well.

Best,

This is a real relief for classical allergies: wet and red eyes, running nose...

Really good!
