I am 50 year old Govt Official and non-practising-Homeo Doctor in Islamabad. I was diagonised diabetes a year ago and put on Getril 2mg daily one tab in morning only. My fasting blood sugar started to remain between 120-135. However a Homeo. Doctor suggested me to leave allopathic treatment and start Homeo way to completely cure the disease. And susgested me to take Syzgium Q 60 drops three times a day after each meal (180 drops total a day). After taking this medicine about 3-4 week , I left the medicine. Because though my random blood sugar dropped below 200 (between 130-180) but fasting sugar did not came down and remained between 140-175. I also started feeling weekness and excess urination after every three hours. and started feeling physically week and my skin starting to show a lot of crinkles. I could not discuss the outcome with about doctor as he is out of country.
On the suggestion of a local doctor in islamabad Now I am taking Acid Phos 200 only in the morning and am not taking any other medicines for sugar and my sugar level is maintained at at 130-175 fasting and 140-180 random for last two weeks.
Can any one please suggest me based on his experience, is diabetes is cureable and what is the proper homeo medicine for me. As after taking Syzgium q 60 drops three times a day, I am looking very week. I have also started walk and left sweets completely. Without any medicine, I pass urine after every 4-5 hour now and have normal thrust ot hunger otherwise I am physicllay very active except sleepy feeling at work and looking very week.

Do not stop your allopathic medicine! From my experience, homeo can help palliatively, but there can be no cure. It can help manage you disease, and reduce the dosage of allopathic medicine. Do not heed to doctors who claim they can heal you. Unmanaged diabetes can be a real risk and may lead to organ failure including the kidney and the eyes. So please do not experiment!.

Thanks Dr. Dexter73 for suggestion. I left the allopathic medicine as in doctor's view who suggested me Syzgium Q 60 drops after each meal, that homeo medicine is going to revive my pancreas whereas allopathic medicine is supressing it....two diffrent functions being performed on the pancreas at the same time... what do you suggest and secondly Syszium Q 180 drops in day is not a very big dose and doses this high dose aggreviate the desease? pl. comment..Thanks

There are various kinds of anti-hyperglycemic drugs, including those that reduce the glucose output from the liver (especially after a meal), increase the sensitivity of beta cells as well as some that act upon incretins in the stomach. Most of these drugs are generally safe for prolonged use. A constitutional remedy could be selected for relief from other disturbanced in your sysem. Syzy-Q is not really homeopathic: it is actually herbal medicine. It will give some palliative care. Your overall health will improve with a right homeopthic prescription (perhaps in low-potency or in LM). You could also choose a bach remedy, since stress and mental condition can affect your glucose levels. But never stop your allopathic drug for either your glucose control or BP!Further, loose weight,especially in your abdomen region, exercise (this can dramatically improve your glucose levels)and relax!

Dear dexter73, thanks for ur advice. I have started to take my allopathic medicine once again. However I am interested in homeo treatment as well.

Can u please suggest some in parallel to allopathic as u have mentioned that
i)anti-hyperglycemic
ii)constitutional remedy iii)right homeopathic prescrption
and finally...
iv)bach remedy to reduce stress.
I appreciate ur help in this regards.

in my exprience acid phoss 6c prevent side effect of allopathic medicins so my patients using acid phoss 6c with thier allopathic medicn and they are quit fit and normal

Requeat to all doctors!

I requested dr. dexter73 to help me with some good remedy to control my blood sugar since he initially posted some suggesttion for me but unfortuntely he seems to be too busy with the lot of patients arround.

So now I request to please suggest some homeo remedy for me to control my sugar. Please note that I am on getrill tab 2mg once before breakfast.
