Muscles building in growing ages

Hi,

My son is 14 years old and recently he started building his muscles doing 100~200 Pull Ups and Push Ups every day but he does not weight lift.

I am concerned because I heard that exercise in growing ages stop in height increasing. Is my concerned true?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
it's not known clearly whether body building affects height at that age.
But 100-200 is far too much m,unless he is preparing for Mr.World.

But he should do stretching exercises regularly after taking directions from a teacher.
