can't get rid of this cold!!
I have been nursing my kids'colds past two weeks and now I can't get rid of my cold, there are so many possible remedies I don't know what fits and I am fed up with this cold:- started almost 2 weeks ago, is finally ripening I think
- earache, mainly left, is probably worst symptom
- sore throat/ear passages also bad
- not much congestion/nasal discharge
- now, cough with mostly clear liquid and some green/yellow mucus
- cough worst in morning and evening; no problem sleeping at night tho
- no fever
- eyes burning some
- some headache above nape of neck but may be from ears
- warm drinks help alot
- mornings waking up are awful
Most grateful for remedy suggestions, I can't seem to match the picture - Gelsemium? Nat. Mor?

Have you read up on Dulcamara? As you say...so many, Maybe Nitric Acid over Nat Mur?? Phytolacca for throat, ears, glands....?
You didn't say how many kids or their ages. If toddlers it is hard to keep apart and washed hands...you see?
If older, washing hands, staying apart, not touching each other's things, etc.
How did it begin?? Who did what first?

If you are familiar with homeopathy,select the best medicine,that seems to fit your case,use three doses(4 hours apart),and wait for a day.
If the response is not what you expected,look for another medicine, that suits,and try it out,again three doses,one day waiting.
If you have enough knoweldge of Materia Medica,it won't take more than three to four tries,before you hit the right medicine.
Keep reading,and experimenting.If you don't get relief,even after the fourth trial,you need professional help.
And ofcourse,further fine tuning of your knowledge of Materia medica.

I've found that aged garlic is perhaps the best form for getting all the goodness from garlic against COLD , Flu etc...
WITHOUT BAD BREATH!
Is this true? What about garlic products like Extracts, pills, capsules...?

Garlic has one serious drawback from a homeopathic point of view . It like camphor eucalyptus mentol mint etc NEUTRALISE homeopathic remedies .
