copd help

i have a simi mild chronic obtructive pulmanary diese.
I am taking an inhaler once day, and pro air 3- 6 times a day. I feel i have done evwrything quit smoking, air pure ifiers in every room.
but I am feeling worse at times. Is there anything else I could do with my medicine or do inplace of the pro air and/or inhaler.

My husband has copd really bad he is in the hospital right now with pnuemonia in his right lung i need to know that can haveing 2 cats and 2 dogs and 2 puppys and 4 4 weeks old puppts can they affect my husbands breathing if this is so I will get rid of them except on little one I will keep her cleaned and brushed so can you tell me if they affect my husband .m.p.
