8 mo old first double ear infection
My son has a double ear infection. He has had discharge from his nose - mostly clear and thick occ. yellowish or dark thick discharge. He has congestion on his chest as well. This has been going on since Mon (today is Fri). I took him to a DR today and she informed me he has an ear infection in both ears - no pus or punctured ear drum. He has been in a good mood - happy and smiley. No fever. He is a big boy 22 pounds. 99% breastfed - (In the past 2 weeks I have given him a couple things to try that have totaled 2 Tablespoons). He has iscreased nursing the past 2 nights. I am having difficulty on what remedy to try first. I have been using garlic - mullen the past day and I am going to start with breastmilk today. Any suggestions??mammato3 on 2009-01-02

I gave ant tart and coccus cacti for the congestion - not seeming to be working anymore - just found out about the ear inf yesterday. I need to dry up the congestion as well if possible. I am currently giving pulsatilla for ears - as far as conventional meds???what do you give an 8mo old?

Give a dose of Puls LM1 just one dose ( two drops in 1/2 a cup of water and stirred for 30 seconds, Give 1/2 a tea spoon from it) and see how it responds. If it works then wait till the effect completely wears off or 24 hours whichever is later and then give another dose after 10 sucessions. Repeat this procedure as required.
