I had to start this thread with attn to you as I was not getting any response. I edited title in the links above but did not show up on main listing :(
Ok after taking Sepia 200c for 4 days am getting severe intestinal trapped gas and unbearable colic pain. This pain is there throughout the day. Motion is once in morning after which there is some relief. But after I eat something again pain starts. This pain was there for 5 days even after stopping medicine.

thanks for your reply. is it 5 drops of Abies Nigra 30 mother tincture to be mixed in half glass of water ?

Could also tell me that if I am reacting thus to Sepia, it does not suit me? I feel that Sepia is best for me as you have prescribed.

This is a nightmare of an experience with homeo doctors in hyderabad. have consulted 3-4 supposed to be good ones. All are the same, out of which I found this doctor to be a limit. The doctor is an asst professor in a govt college and hence had no doubts about his ability. He did not ask any lengthy questions as in ur questionnaire. Just listened to my problem for 2 minutes and jotted down 4-5 different medicines. He did not even give prescription to me for future reference.

Let me give 2 examples:
For acne, miscarriage and hirsutism:

He first prescribed Pulsatilla, Sepia and Nat Mur. So 3 medicines per day. I got severe intestinal cramps.

So stopped it and reported this to the doctor for which there was new set of medicines thus:

thuja - 3 times on a single day at a gap of 1 hour.
Then sepia and other 3 medicinal pills whose names could not make out.
so i used to take 3-4 different medicines on one day.
This again led to unbearable intestinal cramps within 4 days.
So reported this he was again now he again opened his secretive prescription book and jotted down this:
Nux Vomica - 3 times on a single day with a gap of 30 min.
Then Lyco, Carbo veg and 3 other medicines whose names I do not know.

I am completely vexed popping so many pills. The excutiating pain I have suffered can never be undone, but please let me know of a doctor in Hyderabad, who writes the less medicines with confidence instead of just vomitting the names of all medicines he/she knows. The most of all one who writes a prescription slip of all medicines and give it to patient with confidence. Thanks in advance
