Acoustic Neuroma at 42

I've been doing some digging and came across this site. I'm 42, a dad to be (March 15), and have been diagnosed with a large (5cm in diameter at it's largest) AN in my right auditory canal. I've lost all the hearing in that ear, have tinnitus, and starting to deal with mild balance issues. I just started a high alkaline/Ph diet that a friend recommended to me. His daughter has cancer, the most severe kind, and just found out that her tumor has shrunk to nothing as a result of having her on the diet. I'm wondering if anyone has tried this diet with a benign tumor. I've been told so far that my only option is microsurgery, but I meet with the neurosurgeon and neurologist in a week. Any experience/advice out there.

Thanks!
Dday

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You can contact with an ENT specialist for surgical approaches. It is a false believe that only diet can cure acoustic neuroma. If you want to try homeopathy, take calc.flourica 1M weekly single dose for 1month.
