sudden hearing loss

Hello,
I had instant suddenhearing loss on 10-14-2008 in my right ear. went to ENT docor the next day. He put me on prednisome. I was on it 18 day
I found a Octologist In Spokane wa, they have more knowlege than a ENT on hearing loss, So I went to him on 10-31-08 did a new hearing test, Only got back 10% and its all noise and vibraation. He just started me on A ANTI_VIRAL drug and dis-contined the prednisome. He is also going to start ear injections this comming week.
i am on meds for balance and dizziness, he told me this will get better in time.
I have not worked since 10-14
but dr gave me a full release for 11-17-2008
Anyother suggestions ????
