The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Eczema/Allergy

My child is about 7 months old , he developed Eczema with weeping at the age of 3months. We consulted a Homeopath and he was okay for quite some time but again the modified systems are back with rashes all over the body with itching and scaling on the head. The Homeopath has exhausted with the remedies available. He is also having respiratory allergy, if Respiratory allergy is active skin allergy is passive and vice versa.
He also develops rashes whenever he is exposed to sunlight.
He is using formula milk, least of baby food , most of his intake consists of fresh fruits and vegetables, no meat and egg.
Since this problem is at early stages we want to get it cured by virtue of Homeopathy so that it should not come again.
Could you please advise whether Allergy tests from samples of blood can be of any help in diagnosis.
I am also having Allergy/ Eczema on the face and neck and sun burn on the parts of the body which are exposed to sunlight. If I am exposed to for quite some time, it itches in the night and weeps if I scratch, I have to use cream suggested by Dermatologist.
I had the problem of Eczema in my childhood which could not be cured through Homeopathy and skin creams, and it came quite strongly at the age of 25years , I consulted Homeopath, it aggravated and after one month he told me he could not help it and I had to consult Dermatologist as last resort.
Could you please advise.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

It is a little difficult to get a fix when we don't have names of meds already tried.

However, there is one rule for skin out breaks.......

" When well selected remedies fail to produce results >> try PSORINUM".

It also has symptoms of Eczema behind ears and crusty eruptions all over.

One dose in 1M potency is normally sufficient. A remedy not to be repeated at least for a fortnight.

Another one:

Delicate children, product of artificial baby foods ......ALUMINA
.....has lots of skin symptoms and eczema symptoms.

Advisable to run the symptoms thru Remedy Finder on ABC.

I just wanted to add that my son too has had eczema (hips, upper arms, lower legs, sometimes a sunburn type rash on his face, etc). We found that he is sensitive to many foods including dairy (milk, cheese, casien, whey, etc), wheat (flour, whole wheat, texturized wheat protein, etc), corn (corn meal, corn syrup, maltodextrin, dextrose, etc), nuts (peanuts, walnuts, almonds, etc) and some fruits/veggies/spices (orange, strawberry, cinnamon, potato, etc). I wish you luck in helping yourself and your child!

This is very serious only in the fear of having to go to an allopathic doctor and the meds will drive the skin eruptions into the body again and cause life-long worse problems.

Not having seen the condition. And with the respriatory complaint I think of ARSENICUM ALBUM 12X. I just felt 12X would be a good choice. Take twice daily for a week. let me know any responses you receive. This may be a genetic problem that will have to be dealt with as you go. There are other choices, but we will see. Keep me posted...also if you have used Ars Alb already. Sabra

Dear Wasim,

For your particular case of eczema Ars. Alb. would be the first choice hence I fully support Sabra's remarks.

In case you cannot procure 12x you can go for Ars.Alb.30.
one drop twice daily for seven days.
