Persistent thoughts of old age/death

A female aged 65 in comparatively good health is constantly nagged by thoughts of old age and death. She is not able to control the flow of thoughts even by her best efforts.
2. She thus becomes jittery and upset ,of course, without any noticeable outside symptoms. Luckily there are no symptoms of anger or depression.

2. Can some medicine help ??
