My 60 yr old mother has pain and inflammation (i mean swelling) in the shoulder and knee. while walking sometimes knee gets blocked. extreme pain, and stiffness.
Numbness in fingers too.
This is in the left side alone.
aggravated by cold.
had always been treating this condition with ayurveda.
Quite curious to know if homeopathy has a cure for this condition.. as it could be permanent.
plsssssssss advice and feel free to know, whatever else you might want to know. |

please reduce to 4 times a day for some days and then 2 times a day...
on seeing the response, the remedy needs to be tapered down.
if the pains do develop again, you may have to go for 200c. | This thread continues beneath the following ad.

Dear Dr. Rishimba,
My mother reports 3 new unusual changes
1. dandruff like thick crusts, which can be pulled out with nails on the left side of the scalp alone.
when removed, these crusts are slightly moist. no itching.
2. hot flushes in the nite while retiring to bed.
3. slight vaginal discharge after years. looks like fungal but no itching.
she hasstopped rhus tox. what should be done now ?

please dont give any remedy now.
any kind of skin symptoms or discharges after taking a remedy is usually a good sign.
please wait and see if the arthritic pains come back.
if the remedy has worked curatively, these symptoms will also get cured by themselves.

My mother in low, around 65, not overweight, also has pain at the left side. Is this an indication for a specific remedy?
She improves with motion and she is worse in the morning. Also she is worse when the weather is damp/cold. Having read much here and elsewhere I believe that Rhus Tox is the proper cure.
I am thinking of giving her 6X for 40days. Is it too low?

Is my approach so wrong?
I guess so ...
I would better suggest to her to go to my homeopathic doctor, especially now that she has reduced the traditional medicines she used to take, due to stomach problems.
Be well. |
