Horrible Acne!

I have moderate, well tollerable acne on my face, but my major problems is that I have HORRIBLE acne on my butt and back of my thighs. I've tried a few things to get rid of it, but its not working. The acne is either normal, or huge boil like ones that seem to stay there forever. I do not have the money for acutane, so I would like another solution. Please help.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Even if you had the money for acutane I wouldn't recomend it! I was on it and it cleared up my skin for some time but then all my acne came back + I believe it is one of the major causes of my hair loss. Have you tried proactive solution? Thats what I use and it has worked great for me.

Arnica 30c is your remedy. Take 2 balls twice daily under the tongue and report results in a week when your acne should have dried up with no new lesions starting.

Acne is a deeply rooted problem , works on a familial/hereditary basis. Do not use Acutane or any similar pharmaceutical drugs.Do not go for any dermal abrasion .

Was there any traumatic event in your life in the 2 yrs previous to the start ?.
Do you have any warts or moles . Have you had any vaccinations?. Do you suntan easily?.

I'm 16 right now, my acne started when I was young, like 12 or sooners. There were no traumatic events in my life two years previous to it. I have no warts or moles, just a few scattered freckels and birth marks. I had vaccinations in school, I don't remember what they were for. I do not suntan easily, the last 2 years I have started to get heat rash in the sun. And my palms do sweat easily. And no TB or Cancer in my family history.

my skin can be very dry sometimes, or very oily, depending on the weather. I suppose I'm a cold person, I don't mine wearing wollen garments, but I don't wear any besides mittens or toques, I don't think redheads run in the family, although my hair was redish when I was a baby, I had no ear troubles as a baby that I know of, and I do have a sweet tooth.

From the details you give Psorinum seems to be the most indicated - but some things suggest Tuberculinum - so lets distinguish . Do you have long fine eyelashes, a slightly triangular face and are you easily bored , like to travel- fond of meat and gravy ?. Get migraine type headaches?.
In either case I think we follow up with Hep Sul 3x.
Hope you had as pleasant a Xmas as I did .

To Passkey, I wonder if you recomend arnica 6c or 30c for 21 yr old male with acne on forehead and back only....he is currently on propecia as well to stop hairloss. Tk you,

Sangale -- The problems you mention are both related to a hereditary/constitutional problem. No I would not suggest Arnica at all. Both are related to galndular/hormonal maladjustments, needing constitutional/miasmic remedies.
What vaccinations have you had & when , Is there any TB or Cancer in your family background?. Are you tidy or untidy? , hot or cold.Does your sweat stain pillow case yellow and smell sour?, Do you get sweaty palms,. Do you like boiled eggs , bacon rind, cold drinks?. Any red or auburn hair in the family.

Thank you. My son is 21 and unfortunately has had all vacinations (if I had to repeat now, I would not have authorized the vaccinations). There is no TB in the family, cancer only with my 89 yr old mother in law who has had complete remission. He is fairly untidy, unorganized but does very well academically, and does not seem to feel cold that much. Does not sweat, was a complete vegetarian until age 20, then completely switched and now eats everything. No red hair in family, although my original color had auburn highlights. He has dark hair, dark eyes, and medium color skin...It is only his forehead that is breaking out and his back. Curiously he has a twin sister who also only breaks out on forehead and back. She controlled hers previously with a hormone, i.e. birthcontrol pill, but went off it recently as well and began to break out. He had controlled his through Bactrim but also went off it recently. He has been on propecia for 2 yrs now and does not seem inclined to go off it despite my appeals. He feels it has controlled more or less his hairloss. I really would appreciate any help you can give because he leaves for Univ in the US in 1 week and would like to have this more or less controlled. He says if not, he is desperate enough to go back on bactrim (here medicines are over the counter). Thanks very much,

Does he tan fairly easily and do you recall if he had bluey tint to the whites of his eyes when a baby. What position did he sleep in when a baby .
My feeling here is that he needs Carsinosin - say 3 doses of 1M potency at 24 hr intervals , when going to bed.
But if you are in the USA you cant get it without a prescription It is readily available in the UK . It might be that Tuberculinum will fill the bill but not as 1st choice

Yes he tans easily, and no he didnt have bluish tints to eyes as a baby...I dont recall any special position he slept in. I am not located in US and medicines are over the counter. But I want to be sure I am giving him right medication....this Carinosin, what is it exactly...is it compatible with propecia...Thanks very much for your time.

Carsinosin is a nosode , I am afraid that homeopathy is like life - there is no certainty
[ apart from death and taxes , to quote an old joke] ,
Prof J. H.Allen in his book on skin diseases said that we should be glad that the body has put the problem on the skin , away from danger to the major organs. If we suppress the problem and drive it inwards then it can create problems out of sight which can be located only after some damage is done. From which you will see that I fear
dermatology.
Acne was once described by Dr Compton Burnett - for whom I have the greatest respect- as difuse cancerosis. My opinion is that it has parts of all the miasms , and for that reason carsinosin is the best remedy. But as I pointed out there are no certainties.

My partner suffered from acne when he was younger and still gets breakouts every now and then. He uses diacneal from avene which has retinaldehyde (a derivative of vit A but is better as the compound is smaller therefore can penetrate deeper) and glycolic acid. Also he uses a cleansing toner that contains salicylic acid.

He was doing research one day and found a treatment called isolaz which is a mixture of a vaccum and laser treatment. It's looks like a brilliant treatment and he's going for a consultation next week at sk:n clinics. There's some info here if you want to take a look.

Has anyone else tried this treatment?
