sir, lycopodium seems to describe me vvv well. is that my constitution? nat mur character profile is also very similar, though the problem areas are quite different.

forgot to mention that during my 3rd delivery, i also underwent operation for termination of pregnancy. My stomach never came back to its normal size, the abdominal walls have become lax and I still look very much pregnant. Will something help ??

my dandruff has begun to itch and perspiration is extremely worse in the arm pits. The smell is driving me nuts !!

emotionally I am very sensitive and though i never think of revenge, i tend to be very hurt. any person who has hurt me some time in the past is still held with suspicion and i tend to believe that they don't like me and ofcourse i'd never been able to like them too.

my heels ache when i step out of the bed in the morning.

i hope these may help you in finding my remedy sir.

thanx in advance..

Hi Armada

From your profile I could see that you share the IP with Rishimba. Perhaps you both live close to one another and use the same computer/internet cafe.

If Rishimba happens to be living in the same city as you are, it is best to see him in person.

He is a good prescriber and it is always better to consult in person as face to interaction will reveal many aspects to the physician which can never be found out through these forums.

I suggest to make a similar post for the attention of Rishimba , keep bringing it up for a couple of days. Hopefully you can catch him.

thank you for the mail, sir. i don't share my computer with anyone, as i mail from my home PC and i am the sole user.
everytime i read lyco i am vvv convinced that it's my constitutional remedy. even the thought processes go exactly the way it's written in it. since i am a novice to homeopathy, i thought i'll take the advice of someone before trying it.
is there any reason you think i might not be a lyco and that my problem is quite serious so as to be treated by a professional in person ?
would be very grateful if you would be kind enough to answer this.
thank you.

armada last decade
Why do you think Lyco suits you? Give your reasons.

Murthy

attaching excerpts from one of the constitutional study of lyco that i read recently. all these that are included in this are the facts that hold true in my case.
as a child, this was my case always and my mom used to be soo surprised !
Many of the children are angry, bossy, and rude to parents who are too 'permissive'. The parents are often perplexed to find that at school the child gets good conduct scores because this bullying attitude is not tolerated. He has an inner sense of weakness and in many cases he does in fact lack the normal child's stamina. Rough physical games are frightening and exhausting and in no way attractive to him. The features are usually fine or even delicate. His head may be overly large for his body. The parents describe the child as being 'cautious' or fearful of rough games, bikes, slides, or swimming. As the child develops he turns more of his energies to intellectual pursuits such as reading, hobbies, or computers.
. On the physical level, the most affected organ system is the gastrointestinal tract and the liver.

Mind.

BULLYING, DOMINEERING, ARROGANT BEHAVIOR TO FAMILY AND THOSE WITH LESS AUTHORITY, OBSEQUIOUS TO SUPERIORS.

Appearance: Fine features, deep furrows at jowls or brow, anxious appearance, baldness, obese or heavy only in thighs and buttocks.
Acutes.
Pharyngitis, often right-sided or begin on the right side and travel to the left, better from either warm or cold drinks. great dyspnea, prostration, frothy sputum, rattling chest uses accessory muscles, flares nostrils, forehead furrowed.

Cracks in the canthi of the eyes.
Eruptions of the scalp, behind the ears; acne;
Nasal obstruction, worse at night in bed; snuffles of newborns.
FLARING OF THE ALAE NASI Right facial neuralgia.
GREY HAIR (head or beard) in streaks or patches, mainly right side.

Why did you have a new ID? It is confusing.

From what you have written Lyco should atleast nudge you towards health.

Did you ever try it? If so in what potency? For how long? What was the effect of it?

Murthy

gavinimurthy last decade
I had bought lyco 30, but couldn't get any clue on the dosage, so am yet to try it.

how do i go about it ?

armada last decade
If you didn't try Lyco so far, it is worth trying.

Take three doses on the same day. Make sure that there are no odors on you (perfumes etc), near you (in the room sprays etc) and in your mouth before taking the medicine.

No further medicines of any sort. Wait for a week and come back.

Murthy

gavinimurthy last decade
Thank you very much doc, I'll do that and get back to you.

I assume that two pellets is what makes one dose. I'll report after a week.

armada last decade
its a wk since i took lyco 30. i am unable to claim any dramatic changes. i feel that the body oddour has become milder. the black spots have become lighter, splly a black mole which had been there on my thumb ever since my birth (it can hardly be seen). there was a skin tag on the nape of my neck. it remains the same and another one of the same size has cropped up (???)
flatulence have reduced. gray hair, i'm unable to comment. does lyco reverse the process or only prevent further greying ?
cracking of heel much better.

what next ?

armada last decade
Wait for one more week. Don't expect dramatic changes.

Body odor getting milder, flatulance reduction, healing of the cracks of heel indicate that the medicine is acting on you.

We will not repeat it as long as the improvement contiues, however milder it may be.

The review is normally done after three weeks, after giving a long acting medicine like Lyco.

Don't take anything else and report again after a week, preferably after two weeks.

Murthy

gavinimurthy last decade
Will do that.

Thanx a tonne and God bless !

Dear Dr. Murthy,

Here are the updates after 2 weeks :

The improvements still continue, may be a little lesser, but not real bad.

However I am experiencing two new problems - very dry lips (not the corners) and extreme vaginal dryness.
Emotionally I think I am calmer and less irritable.

Could all these be the effects of lyco or... ?

For your reference doctor, I would like to draw your attention to another questionnaire I had answered after a week of taking lyco. Since it was me who suggested that I could be lyco, I just want you to go thro' this and confirm whether you feel it is right or not.

1. Describe your main suffering?
A: body odour, rapid graying of hair, dry skin, skin tags and black spots

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?
A: fatigue, couple of times severe joint pain (once at the base of the index finger and another time under the knee), dandruff

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?
A: Due to some family problems there is stress at times and grief at other times. But experience have made me realize that I am a strong person and I move on as normally as I can.

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?
A: When I feel sad, I cry it out, then I try to console myself accepting life as it is knowing God will show a way out.

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?
A: I can’t pinpoint to anything in the past. But I had panic attacks when I was 15 yrs old (in Class 10) and thatz the first imbalance that I remember. I used to be the school topper and the board exams triggered this, since my mom used to have great expectations (of a state rank) for me. The anxiety and stress led to that.

6. Which time of the day you are worst?
A; When I am sad and lonely, mornings are worse. I fear how I would pass my day.

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?
A: I live in a hot country. I hate heat and thatz the most intolerable thing for me. Music consoles me a lot.

8. Do you think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?
A: I am a lactating mother and I have always found that pregnancies and lactation have a great effect on all my mental and physical changes.
Greying of hair gets really, really bad, everytime I am pregnant.
I start getting body odour during lactation and My abdominal muscles went lax with my last pregnancy and it remains so.
I get PMS also, though not very bad. Very easily irritable that’s all.

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?
A: I hate hot weather and love cold weather. I love rains.

10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.
A: I am easily offended. Kind of reserved, but have no inhibitions whatsoever to socialize. It’s just that I am choosy, if I like someone, I get attached very fast. To some I think I appear to be haughty (I donno for sure, but I think so).

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?
A: I feel like a peacock, when the clouds arrive heralding the showers - very very exhilarated.. though it gets scary if there is lightening and thunder

- Do you like being consoled during your tough times?
A: Obviously.. those people hold a very special place in my heart… the ones who genuinely share your pain. But I hate pretensions and when someone does it for the sake of doing it, or uses the wrong words, it irritates me very much.

- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc?
A: Yes I am very sensitive to smell, hates bad breath and body odour. Apart from this I hate smell of cigarettes (suffocates me), smell of petrol, diesel etc; and even some perfumes disturb me.
Don’t prefer loud noises or harsh lights.

- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc?
A: No

- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife?
A: Very attached to close friends - Can discuss anything under the sun with them.
Care a lot for my parents, but am often misunderstood splly by mom. I find it very difficult to communicate & always some kind of a barrier between us. And this drives me crazy… I feel I’ll never be able to make this up and fear that they may die before I could really make them believe how much I care. Then I feel I’ll never get peace.
I am fastidious to the point of it being kind of pathological, it disturbs my normal functioning. I try to control my parents even, specially my mother, when it comes to cleanliness, as she is a careless type. This creates a lot of friction and distance when I am with them and it makes me feel extremely guilty and sad. At the same time I am unable to resist myself or let things be. I’ll over exert even if I am not supposed to, to keep things clean at the outset. I would rather be caught dead than let anyone see that I am not orderly. Husband – I am a different person with him. have moulded myself to his likes/ dislikes.
Children – love them a lot. Strict with them, but very patient as well. will lose my cool only after repeated disobedience.

11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?
A: I am scared of ghosts, though I believe they don’t exist. I don’t even watch horror movies, coz I don’t want it to scare me later when I am alone.
I am scared of dogs, cats etc; and power failure (dark).
I don't dream.

12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions?
A: I never used to like sweets, but since a year, I crave for sweets a lot. Donno if i'm developing diabetes.
I love chocolates, fried meats, eggs etc; Love spicy food and dislike bland food.

13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive?
A: less. Must consciously make it a point to drink. Though at times I do feel thirsty.

14. How if your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive?
A: normal – slightly excessive. I don’t diet. Eat whenever I feel like and whatever I crave for, may be in the middle of the nite also.

15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand?
A: no allergies so far, except that I don’t eat things that I am not used to eating.

16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or Limbs?
A: sweat is more. I am very warm blooded and the minute I am exposed to heat I begin sweating all over- head, face, body etc; may be more sweating in the head and bad odour from underarms. But I have never felt the perspiration in the palms or feet.

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type?
A: Normal and regular. Once a day in the morning.

18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping?
A: Sleeps very well. Hates getting up in the mornings. Early mornings are very very difficult. Sleeps on the sides, though I begin by lying down flat on the back to ease the muscles, with hands stretched behind.

19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general?
A: extreme vaginal dryness.

20. What peculiar or strange sensation do you have in any part of your body at times? Do you sometimes feel ‘ as if…..’ in some part of the body?
A: I am tired most of the times thatz all. Used to have numbness sometime back, not now.

21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?
A: lyco before 2 wks

22. What major diseases are running in your family?

Legs (bottom half) very hairy, some hair on chest & upperlip too. I am keloid prone.

24. (ONLY FOR FEMALES)

If you are not having normal menstrual cycles, please answer the following questions:

- Are the periods early, regular or late in general? How long do they last?
