The ABC Homeopathy Forum

My 9 year old fell from ta ree

today and initially said he was ok and his friend was more hurt than him. This evening however, a few hours afterwards, he is in a lot of pain and his knee was swollen earlier. I gave arnica 30, he is still in pain but the swelling has gone down. He now has several small white spots in the area.

We live in England and never visit a doctor only our homeopath but she isn't available at the moment. Any suggestions please?
thanks Jacky

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
How many doses did you give? You can give maximum six doses.

Give every two hours to start with and taper off as the pain reduces.

You may need to follow up with Rhustox and Ruta later.

If the pain is lot worse from any movement, and better from rest, then Bryonia should be tried, and if the pain is only worse from after rest and during initial movement, and is better from continued motion, then Rhustox is the remedy.

As Murthy said, just a few doses of 30c should be enough to evoke a response.

Thanks to both of you. It's great to know you are 'out there'. I have given more arnica. I have Rhus tox 30's but only 200's in Bryonia and won't be able to get 30's til Monday now, is this ok?

He is still asleep, very tired as we've just been to a wonderful festival for a week. I think he fell due to tiredness to be honest.

200c is also fine. But do not give more than a TOTAL of 3 doses
