weaning off antidepressant

I would like to wean off zoloft. I am down to 6mg a day. I take it for depression and anxiety. I suspect I have a mild to moderate case since since I respond on such a low dose. Either that or I am highly sensitive to med. I did not know I had depression till 4 years ago, meds and therapy have helped me tremendously. But I'd like to help myself through homeopathy, since meds have side effects. I've taken 12mg off and on over the last 4 years. Ive had depression and anxiety probably all my life. I will be 38 in august. I am a female.

These are my symptoms when I try to go off:
I feel great(even better than on med) for about 2 days. Than I notice a less tolerance with children and husband, quickly irritated. A week later I start to feel numb and empty, (functioning w/o happy or sad feeling). My thoughts start to ruminate over negative things, not as easy to change to positive thought. Social anxiety starts to set in. I get overly sensitive to people comments. Harder to deal with stressfull situations.

A literal dark cloud starts to form over me. The last time this happened it was 3 weeks after stopping the meds. I than took 6mg of zoloft in the afternoon, and the room literally lit up, it was as if the sun came out from behind clouds. And mentally an elephant was lifted from my shoulders.

So it's a slow spiral to dark depression after stopping meds. But like I said earlier I feel fantastic the first couple days after stopping. If only everyday I could feel that way.

The side effects I dont like is loss of libido, desire, having no attraction to my husband. And the emotional closeness, empathy I feel with my children is slightly numbed on zoloft too.(Only a mother can explain this).

Please let me know what else you need to know and how I should wean. What and how to take remedy.
