Fluid in the ear
Hi, My 19 month old toddler has fluid in her ear. The ENT recommends surgery (tubes) to drain. I see people talk about fluid in middle ear and inner ear. I hope they are referring to the same. Is there a non-surgical remedy for this.sudarsanmk on 2008-05-23

Thanks Rishi. I got a off the shelf tablet that has PULSATILLA in it, WELLNESS EarAche(TM). Could you please tell me how this works and also how we I can track the improvement to define the end of treatment.
Thanks,

If ths shelf tablet has other remedies in it as well, it will not work.
You need to get Pulsatilla as a SINGLE remedy.

Hi,
I got PULSATILLA 30C. The vile says 5 pellets, 3 times a day for 3-4 days.
1) Is this fine.
2) What food should be avoided during this time.
3) How does PULSATILLA, help draining the middle ear fluid.
Thanks,

please dont give sour food to the patient.
take 30c three times a day for 2 to 3 days.
4 to 5 pillules make one dose.
you need to study homeopathy to understand how does pulsatilla help in draining the middle ear, it cannot be explained in a few lines..!!!

Thanks Rishi,
I guess non-sour yogurt and ripe fruits are OK. We are avoiding cheese and dairy as well. We are using goats milk for now.
I am trying this for my 19 month old daughter who is scheduled for a surgery (tube in ear) to drain the fluid, so wanted to make sure I do everything to make this work. Hence so many questions.
