Dear Joe,

My dad I think has had a stroke...I say think as he has many other problems going on at the same time.he has Prostate cancer with bone metastasis and left sided chest infection...He is having difficulty swollowing water for sometime now and I thought it to be because of Parkinson's, the since a week I have noticed that has been keeping food after chewing in the left side of his mouth..I started giving him pureed food and he is swollowing better but still having difficulty eating ...maybe from stoke...breathlessness or pain from bone mets very difficult to understand..I am giving him Morpine for pain and he does seem to be comfortable on that front, chest infection is being trested with antibiotics and inhalers and eh is a little bit better so I am left to belive that the main problem is now the stroke...anyway when I felt that I gave him arnica 30C in a small cup a teaspoon three times a day then while I was doing this another problem hit in the face and that was his Sodium fell to 120 ... I started giving him Nat Mur 6x, 3x a day for 3 days ..Anyway he is being given IV fluids now and I ma looking to treat his stroke...right hand seems to be effected and left sided chewing/ swollowing...been a week now atleast...so it has become subacute now- please advise how to go about with arnica and what potency..I am currently giving him Gelsimium 6x 3x a day (pellets) to ease his swollowing atleast...please respond...Thank you very much.
