Dream rubric

Hello,

Is there a remedy with a rubric where a person confuses the waking state with the dreaming state? Where, for example, they will be having a day dream but think it is real? (Kind of like Hillary Clinton's remark on sniper fire in Bosnia, where she wrote it without the sniper fire in a book, but then for some reason she day dreamed it a different way and spoke as if the day dream were true.)
