| Hi, I am pretty sure I have strep throat. I had it once before almost exactly a year ago. I was feeling like I was coming down with something all day yesterday and then when I got home my tonsil really started to ache. I took belladonna right away and have been taking it about every 5 hours. I have also been drinking chamomile tea. I think only the left side is affected as I have no pain on the right side. Swallowing is very painful although the tea is going down very well. Last time I had strep, I was put on antibiotics and steroids. I would like to avoid being put on antibiotics again. I have had alternating chills and then feeling hot. I haven't had a fever today though, but I did have one over night. Is the belladonna strong enough to cure or should I be taking something else? I am miserable, please help! |

Take frequent doses of Hepar Sulph and post feedback. Its great for left sided sore throat.
You can look up Hepar here: http://www.abchomeopathy.com/r.php/Hep

Tip: Hepar sore throats are relieved by hot drinks.
