What can I give my 9 month-old to improve his immune system?

Hi,
My son has had a cold at least once a month since being weaned off the breast, what can I give him to boost his immune system? His colds always have a dry cough which turns chesty.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please give him Psorimum 1M once. Repeat it after a week for 4 weeks.

A deep acting medicine like Psorinum in a high potency (1M) prescribed on very few (if any) indications is calling for trouble.

I would advise caution against this.

- Give him Echinacea Q, 3-4 drops in a half cup of water for three times a day. Give for 10 days, then give a pause for 5 days and repeat for other 10 days.
- Five Phos 6x 2 tabs three times a day for a month

Any repeat doses of a potentised remedy shows a lack of understanding how energy medicine works. If any of the prescribers here have their own children they should try it on them first and see the result. Don't bother to tell me this is how you practice for best results, I spend a lot of time putting people right after they have been sucked into such bogus pratices and have seen the suffering it causes, sometimes for years.

Hi Parachute.
Its very easy to give funny remarks but then difficult to really prescribe some thing. I wish u had some knowledge about Echinacea. I am afraid u can only pass on sarcastic remarks nothing more than that. I have prescribed the remedies basing on my experience and for ur kind information i have four kids and i treat them with the remedies i have recommended.

My remarks were not directed at you personally, Mr Ali, but for the information of anyone reading here. Multiple remedies in high potencies for prolonged periods is NOT in the best interest of people with problems.

Well i suppose my prescription does not contain any high potency remedy. Is not it?

Potentised remedies begin at 3x, In a sensetive system one dose only can last for months. For a 9 month old baby, 6x Phos twice a day for a month will lead to a prooving and perhaps suffering needlessly. Unlike drugs which remain in the body and toxify the system, the effects can wear off quickly when the dosing is discontinued, However there is still a chance that it may imprint a false picture and lead to a complicated health future, this is the reason for small doses and a wait and see attitude, especially if the remedy prescribed is not correct for the patient.
Remedies invoke the immune system to action, there is little evidence it boosts the immune system before any troubles arrive. This is something which can be argued about forever, and probably is.
Regards.

I suggest u to give him no medicines unless he require any.Unnecessary use of medicine can even cause problems.

This all very strange. My doctor here prescribes remedy and advices to use as follows if there is bad condition firs 2 hours every 15min, then every 2 hours. then 3 times a day.. so why is it bad to repeat?

There can't be any consensus on the dosing pattern. The patient himself should take an appropriate decision depending on the responds he makes to the remedy.
