Sore red left eye with yellow discharge
I have this problem for almost 3 months now. Initially I had tried chinese medicine but it did not work well. A pharmacist I met in thailand said it was an infection and he prescribed 5 days of anti-biotics and eye drop. Did not work. When it gotten very bad I went to see a doctor who prescribed another round of anti-biotics and eye-drop. After 5 days and it still did not work and it gotten very bad I went to see another doctor who did the same.When I came back to malaysia I went to see a doctor who said I had an anti-biotic resistant infection and prescribed a combination anti-biotics - 1 dose each day for 3 days. He also gave eye drops which turned out to be steroid based. 2 days after stopping the anti-biotics the sore-eyes was very bad. Decided to see a specialist who only gave an eye drop with wide-spectrum anti-biotic. After 8 days of no improvement I decided to look up homoeopathy.
Found that anica 30 would help. Took 3 dose each day for 3 days and my condition cleared up.I was symptom free for about 2 weeks. Yesterday the gritty feeling in the eye started coming back and yellow discharge could be see coming back. Took one dose yesterday and one this morning and the grittiness seem to disappear.
Can someone suggest an alternative or do I need to up the potency of anica. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Please don't ask me to look for a competent homoeopath in my area. They don't exist and I am currently a student of homoeopathy.

Dear Dr.Tahira and Dr.Mahfooz,
It is not so easy for me to get homoeopathic remedy. It takes about a week or so. Meanwhile I will take one dose of arnica 30 - something that I have on hand and start ordering euphrasia-30 tomorrow...
Modalities - usually in the evening. But when it is really bad it is the whole day and there seem to be a slight protrusion in the white of the eye. The doctor said that it is lesion due to the infection...
I'll try Dr.Mahfooz's approach and see how it works out.

I think this is not a simple eye infection.Infact the defense mechanism bring on surface inner infections through drainage,thats why i did not recommend u common eye remedies.

Dear Dr.Mahfooz,

Is there anything else I could do. The lesion in the bottom left of the left eye becomes obvious when the grittiness is there.

Dear patient you please take 2dosge of Hepar Sulphuris 200 1 dose in morning for 2 days by stoping Arnica Mont.Wait upto 7 days and come back with your update by the way you can continue Euphrasia eye drop as directed above.Thanks and wishes you the best.Malaker

Hopefully homeopathy will resolve this eye infection. Before I knew of homeopathy I also had an eye infection that was antibiotic resistant and eventually was advised by a health care profesional to treat it with Collodial Silver which is a natural and powerful antibiotic which I purchased through a healthfood store - 1 drop placed in the eye 4 times a day for 10 days. It worked.

Ok, here's the latest update.
I tried Euphrasia 30 and it worked for a short while.
Tried Arg. Nit. for 5 days and it worked for 12 days. Yesterday the eye became sore again and red.
Start on Hepar Sulp 200 1 dose today. And soreness cleared. Will take another dose tomorrow.
I am quite amaze that all these works but unfortunately it kept coming back. Arnica and Arg.Nit. had the longest sypmptom free period. Should I up the potency ?
