Help for self diagnosis

Can anyone recommend a book or another source for self diagnosing remedies? I have heard that the online Remedy Finders are not so accurate. Thanks

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
For chronic diseases it is best to consult someone who knows and understands case management very well. Finding the correct remedy is only the start. A lot more cases are spoilt with wrong management than are with wrong remedies.

You should know when to raise potency, how to judge a reaction , when to change remedies , when to anti-dote , when and how long to wait.

If you want to understand personality types of various remedies , read the following book:

all the Remedy Finders are based on one or more repertories and their output will depend on what symptoms have been fed in.

while using the Remedy Finder, you have to

- work on totality of the symptoms.

- include all generals as well

- input all modalities ( aggravations and ameliorations ) properly.

- input the location of ailment correctly.

- put in the exiting cause as best as possible.

- include the concurrant mental symptoms as well.

once you get the first few remedies in the output, go to the materia medica of each of the remedies and check and compare the drug picture and the disease picture.

check modalities and thermals along with mentals.

once you are convinced that all matches well, you can start with 2 of 3 doses of 30c on a single day.

this is a general rule of self prescribing through Remedy Finders.

if you know a little bit about miasm, you can also further ensure that the chosen remedy covers your miasmatic inheritance.
