Child's wheezing breath

Do I need to take the child (5 years)to see health care staff for this? He has slight cough but more serious symptom seems to be wheezing breath which was quite rapid to begin with. I gave him Arsenicum album which improved this but there is still a slight wheeze. He had similar problem (but lots more severe) 2 weeks after getting injections, then it was more serious seemed to me like whooping cough. Then I managed to sort it out with Drosera. Nurse gave antibiotics which did not improve or change this. Should I take him to see a homeopath so this won't affect his constitution? At the moment he is energetic as normal, plays, eats and drinks. Symptomps worse from talking, drinking cold water and inhaling cold air.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Answer these questions,
1- What is the exact time of aggravation?
2- Is your child constipated or u feel some change in his urine or stool?
3- Does he like to have warm drinks or cold?
4- What posture makes his symptoms worse?

1. Worse after midnight (the first night he woke up several times netween 12pm and 2am, but last night he woke up around 10.30 after 3 hours of sleep and was tearful)otherwise worse outdoors as it is very cold wind there.
2.not constipated, probably urinates less often because he has drank less fluids
3. he himself prefers cold sips but his dad wants him to have only warm water so he drinks both
4. If he lies flat in bed, hence I have made him sleep in half-sitting position with a pillow and cushion under him.
When he went to bed last night there was no wheezing, however, when he woke up this morning it was very clearly audible again.

In which potency did you give him Arsenic Album?

30C about 3 times on the first day, then yesterday morning and evening before bed. He's just back from school okay apart from wheezy sound. Much worse on the way to and from school when coughing. He does not complain about this, just about tummyache as I suspect he doesn not want to go to school.

His symptoms are still indicating ars.album.Carry on 30c one dose at bed time for one week.If he feels suffocation or irratibility during sleep then give jst one dose of SPONGIA 30c.After one week report me back and notice his symptoms and modalities carefully during this period.

I won't be able to get to computer next week. So far wheezing disappeared. He was sleepwalking and has still very dry lips. Thay bled while he slept last night. I don't know if this is just ars alb symptom or if he could be missing something from the diet or just the cold winter wind causing it. Will update around the 20th Thanks.

That sort of dryness which causes the lips to bleed, along with the earlier predisposition to wheezing cough suggests Phosphorous.

Give Phopsphorous 200c three doses on a single day and observe.

thanks I'll do that. I think that it is his constitution anyway.

Panglion,
HOW u are sure about his 'Phosphorus' constitution? I can never suggest such a remedy unless im quite sure about it.

He got completely well but the wheezing has returned now. On friday he was slightly coughing but otherwise normal. Suddenly in the evening he had slight temperature and wheezing breathing started. Breathing and pulse fast. Slept very restlessly. Less appetite, less thirst. Then on Saturday he was without energy and with more fever. I gave him belladonna before bed which took the fever away. Slept badly again, talking in his sleep a lot. After eating breakfast on Sunday he was otherwise okay but still slight wheezy sound when breathing. Today on the way to school very cold wind so he coughed outside almost the whole journey.

Please advise what to give to stop this reoccurring.

I said previously that in my opinion he is Phosphorus because so many things from that constitution fit him. He is very talkative and gregarious, afraid of ghosts and burglars. Wants lots of cold water always, talks in his sleep. Has often nosebleeds that are very bright. Also the times when he has problems match the modalities for Phosp.

Panglion,
His symptoms also match with Ferrum Phos, which is even quite safe remedy. Why i always stress on safe remedies and carefulness just because i know very well the side effects or after effects of homeopathy. Many people who consider homeo remedies safe or those who easily rely on Remedy Finders are doing experiments at the cost of their life.Do what u think better for ur child.

are you saying that by giving him the wrong remedy I can create an extra layer or start new symptoms? How do I know which ones are 'safe'?

Yes I mean the same.Ur 2nd question is difficult to answer because homeopathy is so vast and there are many other aspects linked with the treatment which needs practice and perfection.I have seen people who are studying and practicing homeopathy for 5o years and still learning. The best way is to get treated by a professional homeopath on whom u trust.
