acute illness

I gave my daughter Lycopodium 3 doses of 30C & 3 days later she has fever, stomach ache & sore throat. Could this possibly be from the remedy or is it completely unrelated?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Dear annlivi,
For what reasons or symptoms you gave your duaghter Lyco30?

I gave it to her mostly for behavioral issues. I did use the online software for finding the remedy & lycopodium is the remedy that came up several different times.

May be this is not the after effect of LYCO becuase you have chosen it carefully.
Her symptoms are seem to be related with some viral infection.Forget about Lyco and treat the recent situation according to symptoms.

thats the funny thing - I put in her symptoms and Lycopodium comes up again. That's what led me to believe perhaps the remedy may have caused these symptoms to begin with.???

These online Remedy Finder softwares more often than not come up with the wrong remedy. These are not a substitute for professional guidance.

I would caution you from using deep acting medicines like Lyco, when relying on softwares alone.

Is there a book that would be better for determining remedies? I have seen a homeopathic practioner, but didn't have a very good relationship - so I thought I would try it on my own. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Dear annlivi.

The symptoms described may just be coincidence, maybe she was 'getting a cold' prior to the administration of the remedy. However, if these symptoms do not go away it may be necessary to antidote the Lycopodium.

Wait for a while and see if these symptoms pass before taking any further action, and as stated by another member above, no more Lycopodium in the meantime.
