Glonoin - dosage and cautions etc

Unfortunately there is no practicing homeopath within 200 miles of me. There may be some people that dabble in it for themselves, but I trust myself with my own research as much (if not more) as I might them!

Recently I have been doing some research to try to find a homeopathic remedy for my symptoms of menopause. The one that seems to address the more debilitating symptoms is Glonoin. The health food stores that I am familiar with on line that are within 200 miles do not seem to carry this product. It is my understanding that Glonoin is related to nitroglycerin…maybe this is why no one seems to stock it.

I am also unable to find information on dosage amount, side affects, over dosage, and cautions for Glonoin.

It is my hope that someone can provide some information in these areas and any other that you may feel necessary to the use of this remedy.

My symptoms are listed below signature. The ones marked with * are of higher concern and seem to fit with Glonoin as a remedy to start with.

I look forward to your reply

Symptoms:

*Flushes of heat during menopause
very sudden and intense
*Hot flashes are NOT accompanied by sweating – I must be in a sauna suit in the
heat with a bit of humidity to sweat toxins out.
*Sometimes pulsation or throbbing may be felt in the head, or any part of the body
A heavy flow of blood that feels warmer than usual with some periods
Although the woman may be fairly stable emotionally,
short bursts of anger can occur during headaches or in
stressful situations.
*Migraines – frontal sinus headaches
*Blood pressure fluctuations – not staying elevated – only present when frontal
sinus-like headache is present (I call this the bandit headache…it is in the place where a bandit mask would be and it robs you of your thinking!)
*Flushing (despite a general coldness)
Responsible and hard-working, yet somewhat slow or plodding
and can be easily fatigued.
Anxiety may be strong, and overwork or stress may lead to temporary breakdown.
Stiff joints or cramps in muscles – attacking this with stretching and exerxcise
Cravings for sugar
*Surging sensations, accompanied by irritability and muddled thinking.
*Problems and symptoms can be aggravated if the woman gets too warm or stays in the sun too long, and are **often worse from lying down.
Menstrual cramps increasing
*Tight clothing around the neck and waist may be impossible to tolerate.
Strong emotions —
a "pressure-cooker" needing an outlet both physically and emotionally.
Backache - lower
Craving salt – moderately
*Feel worse from being in the sun and any kind of heat.
Alternating heat and chills. Was taking a warm shower and had chill bumps!
Aggravation from stuffy rooms - improvement in open air
Irritable detachment regarding family members introspective – privacy is calming.
Loss of interest in daily tasks
Irritability
Mood swings, very occasional sudden tears
*Trouble sleeping through the night (with or without night sweats)
Loss of libido
Dry vagina
Crashing fatigue
Feelings of apprehension and negative outcomes
Aching, sore joints, muscles and tendons
Breast tenderness
*Gastrointestinal fluctuations slight nausea – leveling with Flax oil pills
*Sudden bouts of bloat – occasionally lasting a couple of days
(especially in summer) – sauna suit helps
Feet, legs, hands and arms feel VERY tight.
*Exacerbation of existing conditions
*Increase in allergies, sinus drainage, and facial pain
More increase in facial hair
Change in texture of head hair
*Tingling in the extremities,
*Tinnitus: ringing in ears, bells, 'whooshing' buzzing etc.

Just starting this one : Menstrual flow may start then stop too early.
