Skin conditions and several questions

Good Afternoon,

My name is Jennifer and I am new to homeopathic medicine and would like to try it out (first on myself and if success, would like to try it out on my son).

I wanted to know what you would recommend for several conditions.

1) I have what seems to be keratosis pilaris which are the small erruptions on the skin - they look like small whiteheads and there are a ton on my upper arms. When I gave birth to my son 7 months ago, they started appearing on my forearm and also some on my face. What would you recommend I take for this?

2) I also have horrible stretch marks from my pregnancy, is there anything that can repair the scar tissue? They are very stubborn and have yet to turn white. They are pinkish in color and most are on my lower tummy and thighs.

3) If I take silica, how should it be taken and does it interfere with body jewelry or tattoos? (since it helps rid the body from foreign objects)

Thank you in advance for your replies and your help..!

Jennifer

Do you have any food allergies?

I do have regular allergies -- outdoor allergies -- but I'm not sure if I have any food allergies. When I was 16 they did a stratch test and I came up positive for food such as nuts, strawberries, chocolate, fish, etc. but things like nuts and strawberries I eat normally without a reaction..

How about dairy products?

I eat dairy products everyday such as cheese. I don't drink milk or eat yogurt though - I just don't like it but I do eat other foods with dairy.

Skin conditions are complicated and take time to heal.

There are a number of remedies which are indicated for increased scar tissue, not just Silicea, and only the one which matches your symptoms totally would be of benefit, IF one is indicated at all. You must bear in mind the cause of this scar tissue, childbirth, which would be considered more a corporeal affection than a miasmatic occurence, so you may be better off using a cream for this.

As for your other skin complaint, skin diseases are really the most complicated of all conditions to treat, and this should only e attempted by a competent physician. Make the wrong move and you will supress the condition, drivving it into the body, which will result in much more suffering in the long run.

Either way, I would again recommend this is not even attempted until you are finished breast feeding your baby, for reasons given elsewhere.

Any itching from the eruptions? Any stomach problems, and do generally feel good in summer or winter?

Itching yes -- mainly during wintertime. I don't believe I have any stomach problems though.

Jenny,

Take this med:

Thiosinaminum 30c

Three doses first day at equal intervals.

Morning and evening ....next day onwards for a week.

Week following ...one dose every day.

If you notice any aggravation at any time ...stop further dosing.

You can post some feed back after a week.
