Blocked artery around the heart - any remedy availablep please | From charlie123 [Log on to view profile] | on 2007-12-27 |

Hi there.
Firstly, great forum.
I need some advice please...I'm 69 years old and from the UK.
I have a blocked artery, which gives me alot of chest pains. The chest pains can arise anytime during the day or night. It doesnt matter whether lm standing or sitting down. Also another affect of this is that after walking, it leaves me short of breathe.
The consultants have said that the artery cant be opened further, in order to remove the blockage. This is because the artery is too narrow for any surgical instruments to enter it.
Therefore, l would be grateful, if anyone can suggest any homepathic medicine which can help open the blocked artery, which will in affect help relieve my chest pains.
thanks in advance,
Charlie |

While you wait for other experienced presribers to suggest further, you can start with Arnica 200c, 4 pellets as a dose, twice a day for a week.

Hi Murthy,
Which Arnica Medicine are you referring to. As there are two listed:
Arnica Montana
Arnica Montana Radix
Also when you refer to pellets, do you mean tablets?
thanks,

It is Arnica Montana.
Click the below link.

In the format option click 'pillules'. In the potency option choose 200c.

Blocked artery may or may not open with Arnica but it is a circulation remedy. It thins the blood. So try Arnica 6C because it it suits you, you may need to take it for long time.

To open blocked arteries...you have to use Crataegus Q....20 drops is in a quarter glass of water ...three times a day.
Arnica helps to thin the blood and saves blood vessels from rupture. In case rupture takes place...it heals the area quickly.
Furthermore, Arnica does not allow the blood to clot.
However the scavenging of blood vessels is done by Crataegus Q.

Yes...as breathlessness is accompanied with blockage....NAJA can be a good med as well.
Lachesis and / or Arsenic Alb. please first co-relate your symptoms with drug picture...only then resort to any of these meds.

Hi,
Here is my personal experience.
My father aged 68 years was having severe angina pains. After Angiography it was found that two arteries were completely blocked and third was about 80% blocked. He was an unsuitable candidate for bypass as he had diabetes, his Ejection Fraction was about 30% and he was immobile due to Parkinsonism.
He was taking a long list of heart medicines. Along side (on the recommendation of a Homeopathic Dr) he started taking Crategus Q and Cactus Q 10 drops each thrice daily. After 3 months his Angina pains became less and eventually disappeared altogether about a year later.
Eight years have passed since his Angiography and he hasn’t had an Angina Pain in the last 4 -5 years. His Cardiologist gradually discontinued all his Allopathic heart medicines except for Aspirin which was given for blood thinning. He still takes 10 drops of Crategus Q and Cactus Q once daily.
I recommend Crategus and Cactus to everyone who has a heart problem. I am sure you will also benefit.
Best regards, | | |

Although all the remedies disscussed above are valuable according to symptoms I have experience of two patients suffering from angina who were used Single Dose of Arnica 1M first and then craetagus as recommended by dr. Pankaj Varma and they improved marically.

thank you all for responding, thats so much appreciated.
I was especially intrigued by the response by RemedySearcher. As the remedies which have been suggested will greatly help me to gain a normal routine.
The two medications mentioned, Crategus and Cactus, can these both be purchased from the UK?
Crategus doesnt seem to be listed from any of the suppliers.
In reference to Cactus. Are you referring to Cactus Grandiflorus.
And if so, do you mean l should purchase this in a liquid form and could you please let me know the Potency please.
I'm so grateful for everyones response, its been wonderful that there are options available for me than by-pass surgery

The option of the RemedySearcher is also valuable. You can buy these remedies in mother tinture (Q) from UK or online service. You are right the name of the second remedy is Cactus Granidflours.
wish you best luck

thank you for your response.
I wasnt too sure what the meaning of 'Q' was. But now know it means mother tinture.
When ordering the CRATAEGUS OXYCANTHA (Q) - does this have 0% Alcohol?
best regards | | |
| Re: Blocked artery around the heart - any remedy availablep please | From gavinimurthy [Log on to view profile] | on 2008-01-01 |
Mother tinctures are prepared with alcohol as base to preserve them from becoming rancid.
However since what we use is only a few drops at a tiime it doesn't amount to taking alcohol, if that is what is bothering you.

At all big Chinese stores Crataegus berries or Dried Hawthorne berries are available. Instead of Q you can eat 3-4 berries each day. Mother tinctures are also made with dried berries but that is not needed.

thanks for clarifying this,
I was a bit concerned about the alcohol intake,
Sorry to ask again, but when ordering online, l have selected:
Cactus
Format is Tinctures
What Potency should l think, 10 percent?
best wishes | | |
| Re: Blocked artery around the heart - any remedy availablep please | From PANKAJ VARMA [Log on to view profile] | on 2008-01-01 |
Mother tinctue...with 10 to 50 % (anything in that range ) alcohol...will do.

Dear all.
I have been taking Crataegus Q and Cactus Q for about a week.
20 drops of each per day.
However, lve noticed that after taking Cactus Q, my stomach becomes unsettled and also l woke the other night with numbness in the right arm.
I have stopped Cactus Q and just using Crataegus Q - 20 days per day. I feel better using the Crataegus Q on its own.
Shall l take Arnica 1M instead of Cactus Q? Or should l increase the amount of Crategus Q to 60 drops per day?
please respond soon, best wished

Dear Charlie.
You would do well to seek the attention of an experienced practitioner in your area for such a serious complaint. Any aggravation caused by remedies could need immediate advice by the person prescribing and this is not always available online.
| Re: Blocked artery around the heart - any remedy availablep please | From gavinimurthy [Log on to view profile] | on 2008-01-11 |
Cratageus alone is o.k.
Don't take higher potencies like 1M on your own. Stick to Arnica 200c, that too only for a week.
Later on, you may have to take a split dose.
