First Menses After Delivery

What treatment helps one during the first menses after delivery by c-section? The menses is profuse and there are lower back aches.

Patient also gets hyper during menses.

Background: Patient had pre-eclampsia and baby was born at gest age of 29 weeks on Sep 8, 2007.

Patient has traumatic experiences right from the childhood - divorced parents, abusing relatives, scanty milk supply, etc.

Where the sharp instruments are used in operation normally Staph. helps those case. Arnica also canot be ignored. But first preference seems to be Staph.

dear murthy,

You Sabina is a true picture of the patient. I have considered the compliants of C-Section (cesearan operation).I revert my decision keeping in mind the following:

Female.--Menses profuse, bright. Uterine pains extend into thighs. Threatened miscarriage. Sexual desire increased. Leucorrhœa after menses, corrosive, offensive. Discharge of blood between periods, with sexual excitement (Ambr). Retained placenta; intense after-pains. Menorrhagia in women who aborted readily. Inflammation of ovaries and uterus after abortion. Promotes expulsion of moles from uterus (Canth). Pain from sacrum to pubis, and from below upwards shooting up the vagina. Hæmorrhage; partly clotted; worse from least motion. Atony of uterus.
