3 yr old with asthma problem
My son is 3 & 1/2 yrs old and he has developed so called Upper Respiratory disorder(in laymans terms Asthma but here in US they dont call it asthma till they r 5 yrs)Anyways..I want to provide his history and details and was looking for that form but could not find it anywhere, so here it goes.
He was a very healthy child from birth. Born 8lb 13 oz. And till he started school 6 months ago, no major disease. Except when he was 9 months and it was his first winter, he had bad bad cold that turned to bad congestion and we had to give him Albutrol. After that no problem at all. All his problems started after he started going to school at the age of 3. It always starts with cold then follows with cough and ends up sometime as ear infection or other time as weezing and hence nebulizer(Albutrol). And this was almost every two weeks, he will get better with all the medicine will be fine for 2-3 days and then the same thing again. Because of having ear infection on & on doctors adviced us to have tubes in his ears and even we were tired on seeing him sick all the time, so we thought its a good idea to go with tubes . After the tubes he never had ear infections as such but he still keeps getting cold every 2 weeks and now it converts to weezing in just 2-3 days of cold.
present scenario : just 3 weeks ago we had to take him to ER because he was couging constantly and he was diagnosed with Asthma. (upper respiratory disorder). He was on albutrol and pulmicort for a week and then just albutrol for 2-3 days and then he was completely fine. Its been probably just a week that he has gotten better and from day before y'day he was being congested at night. During sleep u can hear him breathing thro mouth and can make out he has stuffy nose. I started giving him expectorant from y'day(I am in panick mode right now after his visit to ER, so I take steps very fast). And today he had a greenish discharge through his nose and he was totally looking down. I dont want to start the albutrol again... please help my child.
About him : he is a very happy boy. If we dont listen to him he cries very often but its very easy to turn him around too. He is never stubborn, but likes to do things his way if given choice. Always jumping. No allergies to food, and loves to eat everything.(we are vegetarians). Even when he has 103 fever he is happy and playing, we are the ones worried.
From last six months(thats when he started school/day care), he has completely been on medicines. May be he is allergic to something in school or may be its just common cold. He does have a bad habit of licking stuff like door knobs or window panes. We have tried to explin to him that by doing so he is getting ill and thats not good, but he doesnt seem to understand. Also one thing I would like to say is he likes to bite nails, he must has seen his dad do it and picked it up from him, but he has started doing it very often now. Specially when he is concentrating on something like watching tv, his fingers are in his mouth. Sorry for being long.. but I am done with medicines and want to see him healthy and happy... I want homeopathy for him. Please suggest me on this. Also if you know any good homeopath in Dallas, I am open for that too.

(this is very much like 'mumbling under my nose' but if I had to chose any one of the 4 , and there would be no addtional problems with money/Ins. (chances are the MD is covered) I would go to Ms. Dudasko, as she is actually the only homeopath there).
