Ear infection

My son (2 years old) had an ear infection about 3 weeks ago. Now this past week he got sick again, went to the doctors and he has an ear infection again. The Doctor said the last antibiotic given the 1st time did not seem to work. So we are trying a different kind now. What if this one doesn't work either.
My son is teething and seems to be really irritated all the time. I bought a homeopathy medicine (especially for this) and it works great.
Now he started with a fever last Monday night and had one up until last night. Doesn't seem to be having any ear pain. No runny nose or cough. He's not eating and barely drinking. Is there anything I can do to make this go away while still giving him antibiotics (which probably won't work). Doctor said to come back if symptom's persist. Please help

at this stage, CHAMOMILLA or PULSATILLA are also very useful remedies. give one and then give another if the first one doesnt work, but never together.
