skin viral infection

my father aged 72 years is patent of chronic cough and could not walk far due to breath diffulty and weakness.
25 days ago his left arm pit chest and upper back was infected with watery poxes.he was feeling heat burn there ,restlessnes etc
skin speacialist was consulted by him and he said it is too late now as if he consult him with in 3 days he can cure that virul infection however he gave medicine for sleep and curing restlessness.patient feel relief.he further said that 15 days will take for cure of viral infection whether medicine adminitered or not.it will heal up automatically.with in 15 days all poxes were resolved .but some of wound area is not healing yet.there feel burn now.if sleeping pills not used that there is no sleep.
now doctor says viral infection have been changed in to bacterial infection and it will take time for relief.
due to excessive use of antibiotic his foots and face showing swelling.he feel no hunger ,quarrel on each topic.he was moody and rash already but now due to this illness became more rash.
attention for doctors for this skin problem patient.
