Ear Infection

Hi there.

My father has developed a bad ear infection. His physical symptoms are deafness in the right ear, a thin, watery discharge, slight pain, a feeling of fullness. He has been on several antibiotics with no effect.

He is 48, about 215 lbs, and caucasian male. If that is revelant, I don't know.

A bit of background information, about 4 years ago he developed a mystery infection in his thumb, causing it to swell and cause excruciating pain. That eventually healed with surgery and antibiotics. He has a hard swelling in the top of his left ear that has just been there for maybe 5-6 years. He has degenerative arthritis in his right knee, and gout in his right big toe. That is all I can think of at the moment.

According to the 'Remedy Finder', 'elaps corallinus' was the best fit- at least for the ear infection.

Please let me know what you would suggest for such a problem- he is under a doctors care, but I would like to find a better solution instead of ruining his health with so many antibiotics.

Thank you very much.

Tricia
