Help - Son Cannot Handle Heat
I have a 12 year old son who cannot handle heat very well. He is required to participate / play school sports and the tournaments are in the day time & it is extremely hot (say 100deg F+)with high humidity during the day. He does not feel good; feels weak, dizzy, weird in the stomach, and his head hurts too (in the back of the head or on the top). He sweats profusely, his shirt is completely soaked in sweat while the opponent in sports game is dry. So he cannot perform in the sports activity well due to heat. He is fine if there is no Sun & the weather is nice.In general also, he feels hot. If the weather is cold he does not like to be covered and likes the fan. On the other hand his hands are always cold.
In general he is healthy but he does have a 12 month sinus allergies; constantly blowing nose which frequently needs medication to avoid becoming a sinus infection.
Please help. If you have any other questions please let me know.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
For the time being give your child Natrum Carb 30c,5 drops thrice daily to face the situation.

Thanks for your reply. I will start him immediately on Nat. Carb but will this just be to handle the situation for now, is there a permanent solution?

Hi,
Natrum Carb is not readily available here in the US. Will have to make a special order & could take 5-7 days before I receive it.
Is there another remedy we can try in the meanwhile which may be the next best?

NEED HELP ON ANOTHER ISSUE: SINUS ALLERGIES
I want help on another issue with him. He has nasal allergies 12 months a year. He is having another acute condition of his chronic ailment. He is almost 13 years old and in general healthy. Currently, there is sinus allergies going on locally and lots of people are getting sick. So my son is getting under the weather and has profuse running nose, needs to clear nose after every 2 minutes. The acutes started 2 days ago with bad throat, it would hurt on speaking & swallowing. I gave him Merc Sol 30 few doses and his throat is better but now having profuse nasal discharge.
In general, his nasal discharge is all year round & sometimes becomes sinus infections. His back of the head hurts when he sits in the car. He prefers to have the windows open, likes cooler air blow on his face. If he drinks milk in the morning it does not suit him. It may be because of the allergies; he is not very focussed and would be careless or does not have the concentration level that I would like him to have.
We live in Southern part of Texas US which is very hot & humid. There are no seasons here mostly warm till we get cold wave from the North in Winter after which it is warm again. Summers are very hot & humid.
Apparently, my son's allergies are much better when he is in India (hot but dry heat). Again, we were in a cruise (in the sea) sometime back for a week and even though it was humid he did not have sinus allergies problem.
He has been given a lot of homeopathic remedies here in the past e.g. Zincuum 200, Natrum Mur 200, Pulsatilla, Merc sol, Phosphorus, Sulphur, .. & none have been able to fix his chronic sinus troubles.
So keeping in mind his chronic condition, currently his acutes are profuse nasal discharge; watery. Pain in forehead, temples & sides of the head, temperature 98.9 deg F. He is feeling weak & exhausted, wants to just rest. Does not want to be covered. Thirst is reduced and his tongue is coated white. Another typical chronic symptom he has is that when he gets sick or on the verge to get sick, his lips become red and are swollen. Currently they are slightly red and swollen. Currently, he has been around classmates who have been sick with bronchitis etc.
Please help to get over his acutes and to fix his chronic condition.
