Eczema
HiI'm 27 year old male.
I have Eczema problem on my neck, right wrist and chest. Sometimes it very itchy. My skin is dry, rough and old looking.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Again, black walnut application may be helpful. Use mother tincture. I wonder what triggers the eczema. Please write more about yourself. Have your tried epsom salt baths yet???

I have not tried epsome salt bath.
Well my eczema dates back to about four years back when some dry spots appeared on back of neck and on ear lobes. A dermatalogist gave a cream which cured it. But After some time it reappered and now for past year it worse and has spread to neck , cheast and scalp.
My skin is dry and itchy. My skin appears old. I have lines on my forehead.
I have used sulphur 200 and mercurius without any imrovement.
Any suggestions please?

Please try GRAPHITES and LYCOPODIUM.
rUN YOUR SYMPTOMS THRU THE REMEDY FINDER AS WELL.

thanks for your reply. I did run the remedy finder and the first remedy seems to be Lycopodium and second seems to be Phosphorus in relevance to my syptoms. Now the question is If I am to go for Graphites and Lycopodium, what potency I should go for? And should I take both together or separate. As I read about homeopathy that it stresses for single remedy at time.

I would use each remedy individually. 30 C would be ok . Start the closest one which matches your symptoms first..your problem is chronic so there may be a need for a sequence of remedies.YOu may end up using all the remedies you have listed before complete resolution of your problem.
If you see improvement with any one remedy but not complete, you can go up in potency 200C-1M-10M

I have been travelling a great deal...hence unable to respond to many on the message board !!
for Lyco best is to give 1M potency, once a fort night. Not more than three fortnights.
Phosphorus 200c once in the morning once in the evening. Reduce frequency as improvement shows up.
Graphites 30c four times a day.
ECZEMA plus the following:
Lyco has flatulence, early greying of hair, stubourn behaviour >>>> nornally a well read person.
Phosphorus >>> is an angry person... goes into isolation when angry.
Also has hair loss. Many chest symptoms come and go like cough etc. etc. Prefers to dress up in an immaculate way.
Graphites personality is constipated, sluggish. Problem with nails >>> brittle, deformed etc. boils , pimples oozing pus.

thank you for your reply again. I have not started taking the medicine yet. I will start after my fasting month is over.
I just wanted to add something. Once in a while some cysts form on my face, and they become bigger They feel hard and are filled with pus and blood. I drain it out by pressing with cotton.
I tried to look in remedy finder but it's very confusing.
Do you thing that Lycopodium or Graphites will help.

ROUGHLY IT STARTED IN 1998 WHEN IT WAS JUST ON BACK ON MY NACK JUST BELOW HAIR LINE. I USED CORTISONE CREME FOR THAT. IT DISPPEARED AND CAME BACK.

If you willing to be treated, STOP ALL MEDICINES YOU ARE TAKING (if any) NO TOPICAL SKIN CREMES EITHER , NOTHING. OK?. Take 1 dose only SULPHUR 200c.
Restrict --NO alchol at all(though maybe you no drink anyway),no sugar candies(refined sugar) will cause aggravation (if sensitive),no coffee-or caffine drinks ( soda pops have it --mostly coca cola ;pepsi; mountain dew...etc)much sugar in these any way.
Post ALL symptoms WHICH occur after taking sulphur; label as new(never had before) or old recurring ;; PLEASE state the intensity of aggravations (if any) we want mild cure.KEEP ME iN TOUCH!

I haven't noticed any particular changes in my symptoms since I took a dose of sulphur 200.
Just wanted to mention here that I took sulphur 200 the past month 3 times a day for a week.

Take Graphites 30C four times a day.
Once a week take MERC. SOL. 200C just one dose in the morning. Stop after 4 weeks.
As you begin to improve, reduce the frequency of Graphites.

How about Petroleum 30C ? Usually Graphites ia prescribed whenever a patient has sticky fluid from the Eczema or sweating scalp.

Yes the size of cyst was about size of chickpea. And my left side of face just near lower jaw appeared swollen. There was mucous and blood in cyst that came out.
When I was taking Mer. sol back in early september, I noticed that thick scaling from scalp reduced. I followed with one week of suphur 200.
The eczema got a little better, but I have noticed that it came back since past 2 weeks. I again have itching on neck, wrist and scalp. It happens when I am warm room, stressed or tired. My face feels hot.
I don't have apparent dischrage from eczema affected area. If I scratch a lot, I will feel some stickyness.

I, myself, have been struggling with eczema off and on for the last few years. At the moment, I am still trying to combat my herpes and the burning has basically stopped in the lower areas and in the mouth it has helped, but the ulcers are still there, I will wait and see. A question about my eczema. It seems to get worse in the morning and it seems related to this grumbling in my stomach after I eat wheat products or dairy. Do I have a yeast problem as a male, but internally? I also get hair loss sometimes and brain fog... How does one take homeopathic doses to treat oneself? Does one only take a few pillules or the whole container at one time? And what is the ideal concentration for acute conditions?

I wanted to update on my eczema condition.
After your advice and going through the Graphites symptoms, I went on with Graphites 9x only and after I saw improvements I stopped taking it. The eczema on neck and wrist has imroved significantly. Left Elbow has still a dark scar, but without any itching.
