ANAL FISTULA- FISSURE

re: anal fistula- fissureFrom hectech [Log on to view profile] on 2010-09-03
Hi Joe,
Yes the fistula is not draining and it is Y shaped. Moreso some fluid is filled in the fistula track which can be dangerous if not drained out as per surgeon advice and due to which there is severe pain in anus for 3-4 hour after every BM.
I am doing the massage after every BM as adviced by you. The dose which I am taking is as following:
1. Arnica 30c 1cap full 3 times after shaking for 5 times (6am / 12am / 6pm)
2. Silicea 6x 2tab 3 times.(6.30am/12.30pm / 6.30pm)
3. Natphos 6x 2tab 3 times after food. (9am/2pm/9pm)
4. Ferrphos 6x 3tab 3 times (7am/1pm/7pm)
Shall I try Myristica Sebefera 200. If yes please advice the dose and whether the above stated medicines shall continue or not.

re: anal fistula- fissureFrom Joe De Livera [Log on to view profile] on 2010-09-03
Go ahead with Myristica S 200c. Take it in the Wet dose twice daily for 3 days and report results.

Hi Joe,
What about other medicine - arnica, FP, NM, silicia. Shall I discontinue the same and take the Myristica or shall take the same as usual with myristica.

re: anal fistula- fissureFrom Joe De Livera [Log on to view profile] on 2010-09-04
Continue with all the other medication while awaiting some improvement with the Myristica which can help to open up the pocket of pus.

Dear Dr Joe, How are you, I'm writing to you after a long gap as I wanted to have your medicine for at least a month and then write to you. After having your medicine for almost 25 days and almost finishing 1 500ml bottle of Arnica the result is that :
1. The puss has almost drained out and there is no pain.
2. As I am placing a piece of cotton pad it absorbs all the puss secretion which is also decreasing every day.3. the problem of constipation has reduced but not much.
Could you pl suggest If I should continue with the same dosage or should reduce selicia dose.and is there anything eles I can have for constipation.

re: anal fistula- fissureFrom Joe De Livera [Log on to view profile] on 2010-09-04
To Rohit

I note that you are not doing the internal massage with an antibiotic ointment which I had prescribed in my first post to you.

This is the reason why your lesion is not fully cured. This massage is an integral part of my therapy and I cannot understand the reason why you have not followed my instructions.

It is possible that your constipation may also be a cause and you may increase the Nat Phos 6x to 3 tablets taken thrice daily. Drink plenty of water up to 3 ltrs daily and eat fruits like Papaya, Prunes, Bananas to help keep your stools soft.

You will reduce the Silicea 6x to just one dose daily and report if the pus discharge is as it is today.

Continue with the other remedies as prescribed.

Dear Dr joe..
you are right that I am not doing internal massage with antibiotic, but at the same time I am taking stiz bath after every BM. As I am having problem in my BM and when my motion is not clear I start having pain and the next day there is some watery and puss discharge. But the day my motion is clear and I have a good bowl movement the discharge reduces drastically and the pain completely vanishes. However I shall certainly start massaging antibiotic from today and let you know the result. As I dont drink and occasionally hv non veg and have non spicy food past 6 months I cant understand why I am having this constipation problem.

re: anal fistula- fissureFrom Joe De Livera [Log on to view profile] on 2010-09-05
The fact that you are not using the Antibiotic Ointment after every BM is obviously the reason for your present predicament. Your non compliance in using my therapy will delay your eventual cure and it seems to wasteful of my time in helping you for the last month and on your part the unnecessary pain that you suffered during this period.

I am glad that I was able to spot the real reason for your case not resolving itself towards a cure but all is not lost and I note that you have decided to do so:

"However I shall certainly start massaging antibiotic from today and let you know the result."

You must understand that I have fine tuned the many aspects of my therapy aka Joepathy to treat Fistula, Fissure and Abscess and as you are aware other prescribers on this Forum do not treat patients who present these ailments as they have discovered that the standard classical therapy they prescribe does not work permanently.

I believe that your hard stools will be helped by the increased dosage of Nat Phos but you are advised to reduce your dosage of 3 tablets down to 2 as soon as your system is stabilized. NP is perfectly safe to be used even daily but you do not want to be addicted to it indefinitely.

Respected Joe
No puss is coming from any of the two fistula openings that are located 6 inches above the anal hole, and there has been no pain now but rarely there is some itching. The upper fistula opening has shrinked to twice the size of the tip of a ball pen while lower fistula opening has shrinked to almost zero size. Should i reduce Silica dosage??
Thanx a million for the Jeopathy! Moreover i have been suffering from cold and high fever for the past 3 days.

Your recovery can be considered as being at around 95%.
You may reduce the dosage of Silicea to just once daily.

Continue with the other medication and report in a week.

To Pankaj

I note that you do not use Silicea 6x which is an essential component of my therapy. Please refer my first prescription to you to find the Silicea.

Take 2 tablets Silicea 6x thrice daily and report the difference in your response in 3 days.

I note that you are taking Hamamelis 200. I would like to know the reason why you are taking this remedy. Do you suffer from Hemorrhoids or Fistula or both ?

re: anal fistula- fissureFrom pankajnirwan103 [Log on to view profile] on 2010-09-06
Hi Joe,

I am taking medicines as suggested by you. I am quoting the prescrition below (page 57)

"Proctoscopy - GI Haemorroid 7-11 O' clcok "

Here is the reason for your present problem. I suspect that a vein is crushed or otherwise injured by your constant sitting and you MUST use a hollow cushion as prescribed by me to relieve this pressure.

The remedy is Hamamelis 200 in the Wet dose taken twice daily.

You can amend my prescription for the suspected Fistula and I shall treat your Hemorrhoid for the moment and observe your progress which you will report to me often.
DELETE Silicea 6x

Please suggest.

Thanks

In the light of your reports copied below it is obvious that you will have to take the Silicea 6x as prescribed originally.

22/08/2010 : - Watery Discharge all day, Pain, 2 hard lumps (1 Small and 1 very small), Burning sensation, pain on pressing lumps
29/08/2010 :- Watery Discharge 2-3 time in 7 days, negligible pain, lumps are there as they were, pain on pressing lumps

re: anal fistula- fissureFrom chispas [Log on to view profile] on 2010-09-07
Dear Joe,

I have been suffering with an anal fistula for over two years and I am currently on my fourth attempt at Joepathy - having each time refined it as you have changed it yourself and also following your own recommendations when I have written to you before.I have been taking the following for just over 3 weeks now:
1. Arnica 30c wet dose 1cap full 3 times a day
2. Silicea 6x 2tab 2 times a day (morning and evening).
3. Ferrphos 6x 3tab 3 times a day.
4. AB massage after every BM.

(I take each remedy half an hour apart and away from food).

I do not take the Nat Phos as stools are always soft - I suffer more from a sluggish bowel and spasms which I take probiotics for and also recently started taking whey as I read that is is good for helping the bowel to return to normal peristalsis.
I feel that this time (the fourth attempt at Joepathy) things are getting much better - I think it is because I am taking ferr phos 6x three tablets thrice a day (before I have not taken any ferr phos - from your original protocol - or only taken two tablets twice a day).

However, although the fistula is a lot less painful and infection is a lot less I have recently noticed over the past few days that the fistula is filling up with blood only (ie. no pus) which I have to empty, and is getting much harder and more defined in structure when I feel it. I am currently taking a course of antibiotics for an ear infection which has made my bowels really sluggish so BM not very regular (but no hard stools).
I wondered what you thought about this and if you felt I need to make any changes to the above therapy.

Many thanks for all your time and care, Joe.

Best wishes,
Chispas

re: anal fistula- fissureFrom Joe De Livera [Log on to view profile] on 2010-09-07
If as you state Ferr Phos 6x did you some good you can continue with the increased dosage as it is perfectly harmless like the Nat Phos.

The fact that the pus is being displaced with blood is a good sign as this shows that the internal pockets are filling up. You will discover that the blood is thin and watery and this is symptomatic of the body healing itself which is what medicine cannot emulate.

You can change the brand of the AB ointment to see if this can make any difference which you will report.

re: anal fistula- fissureFrom chispas [Log on to view profile] on 2010-09-07
Thank you so much Joe. That is a great relief to know that the blood is a good sign! I currently use Neosporin AB cream as I am based in the UK and this is the only cream I can get hold of - via the internet from the US (on Ebay). I could not buy Polyfax over the internet. My doctor here in the UK can only prescribe Fusilidin AB cream but I believe that this is not as effective as Neosporin or Polyfax. If you know of any other brand names I can look on the internet for please let me know.
Again, thank you so much Joe.

re: anal fistula- fissureFrom hectech [Log on to view profile] on 2010-09-07
Hi Joe,
Apart from taking the joepathy you have recommended taking Myristica S. 200 on 3/9/2010 in wet dose twice daily. I started taking the dose from 5/9/2010 but its effect was very severe and I have to discontinue after taking three dose. Suddenly my head started swinging and I have severe pain in liver and left eye lid. I also have light fever and do not have any urge to eat. So I immediately stopped taking the fourth dose but keep on taking the joepathy. Today my pain inside the anus has increased a lot from morning and in the evening I had taken 4 tab of silicia which gave me some relief from pain. Please suggest whether I shall continue your joepathy original dose or you want to change anything.

re: anal fistula- fissureFrom Joe De Livera [Log on to view profile] on 2010-09-07
To Hectec

You are the first to react to Myristica 200 in the way you did. Let us try with the lower 30c potency and observe how you respond. This remedy is to force the pus to burst open from its pocket in the anal region but if it does not work and you are still suffering from acute pain, you will have to get it lanced by a surgeon.

Your fever and other symptoms are not connected with this remedy and are perhaps due to some infection like a flu.

Do not overdose with the Silicea as it is a deep acting remedy and should not be overdosed.

Continue with the rest of the therapy.

re: anal fistula- fissureFrom hectech [Log on to view profile] on 2010-09-07
Hi Joe,
Since I was having great pain in the anus I pressed the anal region hard from outside and my pain has reduce a lot. After sometime a small amount of red fresh blood came out from the anus and I get full relief from the pain. It seem that fistula has now bursted.
Shall I now try myristica 30 or shall continue with joepathy unusal dose. To update you as soon as I discontinued the Myristica 200 dose all my sympton like pain in liver, eyelid, fever etc has gone.

re: anal fistula- fissureFrom Joe De Livera [Log on to view profile] on 2010-09-07
To Hectec

You have saved yourself from the surgical procedure I referred to in my last post to you. The red bloody discharge is a sign that the pus is being replaced by tissue that the body is rebuilding into the pockets of the Fistula. The fact that you are relieved from all pain is a sign of your recovery

Stop the Myristica as it has done its work. You will now have to ensure that the bacteria are kept under control and not permitted to reinfect the Fistula by doing the internal massage with the AB Ointment twice after every BM spaced out over an hour.

Continue with the other remedies but reduce the Silicea to just once daily.

Report progress.

Hello Joe! SO glad I found you on the forum.
My story is like many others. I first had an perineal abscess in 2003 which was misdiagnosed, they said it was something else and I&D it in the ER it plagued me for a long time. I did a bunch of cleanses, and alt, medicine and I thought it had healed in 2004.
It came back while I was pregnant in 2008 and this time I was sent to a (butcher) colon-rectal surgeon who diagnosed me with a fistula I have had 2 unsuccesful surgeries, the last one was in Dec. 2010. It is bothering me a lot. I go through a cycle of it clearing up and no pain, followed by right now a lot of pain with some drainage.

I am 34 year old female. Not sure what else you need to know. Wanted to be sure I am taking the right stuff.

I would greatly appreciate your help!

In gratitude,
Kate

To Kate

I presume that you have already read some of the many cases that I have treated, with the majority cured, on this Thread devoted to Anal ailments.

Please be warned that your therapy canl be extended over a rather long period but some patients have been cured in a few weeks.

I shall copy the therapy I have pioneered and prescribed to patients who suffer from FISTULA, FISSURE AND ABSCESS of the Anus. The majority of those who have used my therapy aka "Joepathy" have confirmed that they have benefitted from this therapy and many have confirmed that they have been cured.

I shall note the Remedies prescribed below:

Silicea 6x Dose 2 tablets taken twice daily to expel the pus from the lesion.
Arnica 30c in the Wet dose a capful of the bottle taken thrice daily to increase the flow of blood which in turn will help to rebuild the tissue.
Nat Phos 6x Dose 2 tablets taken twice daily after meals to soften the stools.
Ferr Phos 6x Dose 2 tablets taken twice daily to improve the quality of the blood to help heal the lesion.
Antibiotic Ointment like Polyfax or equivalent which is used internally on the tip of a gloved finger inserted into the anus after every bowel movement to keep the bacterial count as low as possible in the lesion.

Do not use toilet paper after a BM. Use a Hand Spray device instead available at Wal Mart which is a DIY fitting.
No Alcohol, Red meat, Coffee and Sausages, Ham and Bacon as they are loaded with Saltpeter. No canned beverages like Coke. Do not eat hot (Chillie hot) food if you live in India.
Drink at least 3 ltrs water daily and exercise moderately.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in a 5ml Ethanol pack in a bottle with a dropper arrangement.
If this is not available the Dry dose in pellets may be use but this is not as effective as the remedy in the original Ethanol pack which can be ordered from the ABC.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake it hard to produce bubbles. This is homeopathic succussion and must be done every time before a capful of the bottle which is the dose is taken as directed.

Report progress weekly.

Hi Joe,
You have asked me to reduce the dose of silicia to once daily. Do you think all the pus has come out of my fistula? Please note that as per my MRI I have got "Y" shaped fistula with no opening on the skin but now the opening is only one and that is inside the anus.
Moreso after BM my pain has again increased though I have applied AB ointment twice as advised by you. What to do now ?

re: anal fistula- fissureFrom Joe De Livera [Log on to view profile] on 2010-09-08

I cannot answer your questions on this thread as it will only be guesswork.

If you feel that the Silicea 6x has helped feel free to use it twice daily.

You can try the tennis ball technique to see if it can help. Sit on one and roll yourself on it as report if it helps.
